28mm Beasts of Burden.

.......perfect for supplies or loot and sometimes called Dobbin.

Blogger still acting up, either won't load the pictures or there is an error in saving (this was my fifth and last attempt, maybe it heard me unlike yesterday where it just was an arse ache and ignored me).

I believe they're all Foundry but I could be wrong.

  1. Ha ha ha! Did you do a bit of the screen at scream routine like I did last night?! Absolute pain as nothing would load. I have constant problems with Blogger the last few months.

  4. Nice. Pack animals are always a treat in skirmish games.

MegaMinis has both pack-horses and pack mules:

  5. Nice Ass :-)

Seriously though, they are great and useful for a range of genres and gaming periods. Might have to get me some of these for my Dark Ages baggage caravan.

  6. Awwww, I was gonna say "nice ass!"

  7. Excellently painted (as usual) and very useful for so many genres and historical periods.

  8. Nice supply column, likely to be very colorfoul on the table. In relation to uploading photos, I recently experienced problems when trying to "cut & paste" images, as it was impossible to save or preview the post then. However not a problem when using the image download facility of blogger. Hoe this helps

  9. I think I'll need some of those later in my zombie campaign. If they carry all the load, I am able to eat my fellow survivors...

  11. I like these. One of the things I think is cool about your collection is that you have models other than "just" soldiers, that provide a lot of extra color and character.

  16. Sorry you're having Blogger problems. I haven't tried to post a blog yet today, so I don't know if I will. Anyway, here's hoping it get worked out soon. Miss Wiggy waves hello. That's right. She can wave. She's THAT talented.

  19. I'm guessing the lions they're leading are just out of shot. Great again to see some of the background stuff, the support infrastructure - too little emphasis on it all in my view, in gaming I mean. Then again, this does border on cruelty, especially for the animal one from the end..!

  20. Man, they look like they're loving life. Alliteration!

Google has been pissing me off lately too.

  22. you can never have too any dobbins. I love converting them from cavalry horses and pony's myself, but I've got a good few purchased pack animals in my collection as well.

  23. You are great at painting those, when I tried I sucked, I guess it takes practice, keep it up!

  24. I've never seen such a nice array of asses.

  26. Now I have that Rolling Stones song stuck in my head.

    Good job.

  27. You need all the pack animals you can get. Especially during the Zombie Apocalypse. Transport, soft cover, food source and if laden with enough high explosive a great 4 legged petard to send into the midst of evil undead or rabid warlords.

  35. There are some in the IMEX 1/72 Alamo Mexican packs too, plus other animals in the pioneers, pilgrims, Indians etc packs.
The rolling stone song also stuck in my head right away, and I expected the ass jokes, but at least nobody got turned on by the foliage yet.

  41. Hit the puter, scream at blogger, rant and rave an then save your post as a draft and come back into it and try again. Often works for me. Im not sure if it is blogger or picasso but one or the other is not playing nice and it happening a lot.
