My Angry Dice?

The Sleestak (some Sunday posting weirdness) loving Tim over at Gothridge Manor (go have a look)has started a dice viewing/posting post with the means of it going nuclear which it should and probably has by now, keep the dice hot, rolling and angry (thrown harder).

Tim is a nice guy with alien visions but his missus is the real joy Happy Whisk (go have a look aswell)

Now everybody has dice, from a game of Monopoly at the very least, so get them out and take a picture and why are they angry dice it's the way I throw them and how they make you feel most of the time when you look at the result and wargamers have always have the most.

The ultra rare Salute dice from the Warlords.

D12 within a D12...kinky.

Saruman's dice.

Sauron's Dice.

Flames of War Dice.

Casualty Dice.

Loads of Dice, too many to photograph.

Ivory or bone dice from Hong Kong, brought back by a long gone relative a long time ago of the SWMBO.

This made me chuckle yesterday over at Hello Rosie.. (give her a visit). Courtroom Testimony (seemingly true which is dreadful and even more funny).

ATTORNEY: Doctor, before you performed the autopsy, did you check for a pulse?
WITNESS: No.
ATTORNEY: Did you check for blood pressure?
WITNESS: No.
ATTORNEY Did you check for breathing?
WITNESS: No.
ATTORNEY: So, then it is possible that the patient was alive when you began the autopsy?
WITNESS: No.
ATTORNEY: How can you be so sure, Doctor?
WITNESS: Because his brain was sitting on my desk in a jar.
ATTORNEY: But could the patient have still been alive, nevertheless?
WITNESS: Yes, it is possible that he could have been alive and practicing law.

Gaming this Sunday with the Rejects and a fellow blogger MiniMike from Holland, if he turns up?

  1. It's funny that lots of wargames are trying to get rid of dice but they always come back. There's a new game called "Quarriors" which seem pretty cool, the box hold 130 of them.

  8. I have a big (2ltr) jar full of dice. I havn't organised them into individual draws by type. Fran, thats just too OCD, even for a hardcore gamer!

Not sure I'll photograph my dice. It might steal their soul and make them role bad. Then I would have to destroy them like I did to a particuarly antisiocial d20 a few years ago LINK.

  9. @BigLee: We retire dice we don't destroy them or just give them to others.

  10. Holy crap you have a lot of dice, and some really great looking sets too. All I have is a pair of craps dice from Ceasar's Palace

  14. I think your story should be those bone dice were carved from the femur of a defeated rival. ;)

Those d12s within d12s are trippy.

  15. I am still looking for that set of dice that will work. Roll high when I want high, low when I want low.As a result I have heaps too. None of them bloody work!!

  16. Man its seems everyone has bone dice, but me. I think I may have to do what Trey suggested, go out defeat someone and carve them from their femur. And as your joke suggests, maybe a lawyer.

Thanks Lurker for joining in on the fun. Looks like you have a few hundred pounds of dice.

    Also, great lawyer zinger.

  28. I thought there was something slightly worrying about having so many dice, but I've just had a shufty at my accumulation and now it seems perfectly sensible!

  33. @ Tim Shorts: Unfortunately, I'm an attorney and I don't have my own set of bone dice. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
