2nd Painted 20mm Soviet WW2 Infantry Platoon.

This unit netted me 128 points in the challenge, 32 plastic figures from The Plastic Soldier Company and 2 platoons down and one to go to make up the company...

I'm not confirming that the pictures were taken at work......

  1. They are nice figures from the Plastic Model Company and you have done them justice.

  2. Haha, those were taken at work because I can tell that's not the table you use at home! Caught you out Angry. But Ray cheats by painting at work and these netted you points, so I won't tell anyone. Those are so tiny, I don't know how you guys do it. There's another comment after this one. Pay attention to it!

    1. No, I just did this as a gift for the two of you. I didn't know your wife's hair colour or Angry's girlfriends haircolour so I matched the hair to the men's. I'm not going to redo her blonde for you either Ray! Hey, I can't get to your post yesterday, it says "Page Does Not Exist"

  7. Some good work here Fran, good to see you have been getting some painting in after all the busy times at work lately.

Nice slideshow as well. It may very well forecast a win by Ray!

  8. Much as I like your painted figures, Fran, I have to say that Anne surpassed you this time with her sublime slideshow. Take a bow, Anne!

  9. Great job on those. Very crisp detail. The straps across the chests really stand out and are nice and distinct. I wish I could paint so cleanly.

The Russians sure are coming, it's Red Dawn, nice job!

  17. It sounded like it was Ray giving himself away, when he had good cover and concealment. At least he didn't shine a flashlight into an ambush like the Nemesis did though.

  22. Good stuff. It's hard to beat the variety of poses in a box of plastics. Do you take any extra precautions to protect the paint when painting plastics?
Good comic, Anne. I may be old, but I still remember the "girlfriend" days.
