28mm Wild West "Grand Hotel" in the town of Angry!

Back to flaming work, I was ill all my annual leave and fecking Christmas, it's Ray's fecking fault coughing and sneezing all over the car and gatehouse before Christmas the bleeding typhoid Mary!, got nothing done, sneezing like an allergic cat owner, cost too fecking much for too fecking little, more phlegm than a stutterers convention, explosive coughing fits and more snot than 12 kindergartens!!!!!!!

Here endeth the rant........

A lovely painted building among with others I acquired before Christmas by swapping something the previous owner wanted and behold one of the first buildings for my town of "Angry" down south (bleeding hot though), don't know the company though?

Not a large hotel but I've bought some poker tables and a piano with some patrons..........

  4. That's the building shape that I want for my town but no one makes a laser cut version like that. What company makes that one?

  10. Very nice piece you acquired Fran! I believe the hotel is from Hovels. I like Hovels a lot as they have a certain quaintness and style that I find very appealing.

  13. You'll have to get some strumpets to go with that. Foundry Victoriana has some rather risque ones. They'd look marvelous strutting on the balcony of your hotel.

    Welcome back Mr. Grouchy Pants!

  18. It's a nice start, but I think you need to focus on commodities before focusing on tourism. Give them a reason to stay. Maybe Angry can be the place where people can seek refuge from the annoyingly sick.

  19. A very fine piece of work. The glass is particularly impressively done. Best, Dean

I enjoy to see some 28mm stuff from you after the long period of 15mm. This hotel proves that you're familiar to the larger scale alike.

  33. Good building nicely finished. It's going to be an enviable set up when you've finished the town.

If it's any consolation I had a shitty cold too over Christmas with the added benefit of the Inca quickstep. Not a single proper wargames present either, but at least only one pair of socks . . .

  37. Who wouldn't want to stop for a drink in a town called Angry? And now there's a place to get a drink! Nice. I worry though that someone is going to crash through that skylight when gunfight season starts,
As for the germs, I agree that you should give them back to Ray, and he can stay sick until Curt's painting challenge is over and give the rest of us a chance. :)
    Cheers,
    Mike
