28mm Painted Ironclad Miniatures Tunnelling Machines of Terror.......

......well you wouldn't want one appearing in the lawn, behind you?

Some 28mm resin miniatures from Ironclad Miniatures for a possible, haven't decided, maybe never but I have a lot of miniatures painted Back of Beyond, Victorian Sci-Fi etc...project!

Added a 28mm Copplestone figure for some idea of scale............

  4. Peter Cushing and Doug McClure on board?

  5. Those are pretty awesome, wouldn't mind having one or two for work in the garden. I'd probably need a larger garden though. An underground garden.

  6. This is sixteen shades of cool and I want one to go with my Reaper Chronoscope figures. You should do a VSF project as there are some killer sculpts out there for it.

  7. Giant moles you have there! I would suggest a cat... a big one!

  11. That's so COOL! I wouldn't mind seeing one emerge.. but not on my lawn. You're right.

  12. Very nice job Fran.
I have had a look at these a couple of times, and for some reason, they seem a tad small for 28mm scale? Dunno maybe just me... I just envisaged something bigger...

    1. I know what you mean as some of them are borderline but the price is very good!

    1. You guys are funny. I don't know what a tut is, but I'm thinking if Ray's calling you that, it's not a nice word.

  14. Rather handy for trench warfare - no pesky machine guns to worry about when you come up in the enemy's trench!

  15. Those are nice, look much better in their own feature than the blurb in the painting challange too!

  17. Well even if you don't use them in a game they still look awesome and very dangerous to anyone caught in their path.

  23. Fantastic! I love the effect you got on these.

The gun toting sentry was hear to exclaim, "That's a helluva mole problem you got there!"

  26. Smashing work, General. I was thinking about picking up one of these for Doctor Maton's Mechanickal Forces, and this paint job is tilting me ever closer to the brink of actual purchase. Might have to wait for Historicon, though.

  27. Those things are brilliant Francis. I particularly like the ones emerging from the ground. Very cool.

  28. What I like about them is there is no scale! By that you could use them as 15mm or 28mm. Imagine Franonian troops leaping forth in the great and inevitable victory over Rayonia! At 15mm you would be able to get armoured cars at the least inside! Just a thought, not a suggestion.

  29. Looking real sweet! Nice clean brushwork and great choice of colour on the wooden Panels. The ones that are coming out of the ground could use a few scratches in their metal, but that is only a matter of taste here.

  46. Hell of a nice job Fran! But erm, they do look a bit new and shiny, specially the ones coming out of the lawn... perhaps a chance to try out some of those new fancy-smancy pigment powders? No offence by the way: they are REALLY cool!
