Well if you're getting them for realism and effect then it's not bad at all. If you're getting them because you're fascinated by the wounded and dead...then we can worry.
Dead good. It's easier making your own for 1/72 or smaller. Anyway, you don't want an empty battlefield unless your opponent uses a disintegrating 'ray gun' weapon...and they were less common during the ACW than you might think...er..ray guns that is. 'Pure dead brilliant', as they say in Glasgow.
I like them, and it's nice to have a record of the carnage. That's one of the things I like about the Total War computer game series,looking at the piles of dead after the battle.
Now, that's what I call 'Field Grey'...straight to the ground, under the green grass! Excellent work Sir Fran (and great photos) - Ray do you hear??? :-)

I just got back from the grocers and you would not believe the horror of the St. Patricks display. Green fecking mohawks, fecking leprechauns out the arse and worse shite than that. The Spawn took pics of this monstrosity.
And if that wasn't bad enough, this arsemonkey of a gamer that I met told me he wished I could speak "American" Yeah, I'm speaking the English language and that's not good enough for the fecker. I wish you were here so you could punch his lights out for me.
Anyway, I do like these figures as they tell a story and your brushwork is excellent on them.
