The beginnings of a shanty town.......

........in 15mm from Ironclad , Khurasan and Peter Pig!

These were completed during the Analogue 2015 shenanigans but didn't count due to some scenery bias from the judges, anyway the majority of scenery (fences/buildings) is Ironclad(they were having a sale) apart from street lights (khurasan), telegraph poles (peter pig).

There will be more additions, some already painted, some not........plus possibly graffiti and posters?

Good pieces of kit from Ironclad.........

Not part of the shanty town but they were such a good price from Ironclad and when is there ever enough crates and barrels?

28mm Painted Victorian Sci-Fi Tanks and Armoured Cars, adding to the Great Painters collection and.......

.....pimping Edwin!

Some nice pieces of resin and metal from Ironclad Miniatures for the Victorian (Steampunk and Pulp also) warfare shenanigans, two different forces............

28mm Copplestone figure for scale purposes........

Curt "Norse God" Campbell over at Analogue Hobbies has painted me a little piece of wargaming joy for my collection for something I did for him a while back and I've got to say it's cracking!

.........and Edwin over at Thoughts of a Depressive Diplomatist is having a competition and giving away books (which he also sells) but no picking the book on the Khyber Rifles as that's going to be mine!

28mm Victorian Sci-Fi German Marine Light Steam Tanks, Twinkies and Assholes!

We have a pair 28mm (light) Steam Tanks for the German Marines from the previous post, these mainly resin little fellas are from Ironclad Miniatures, they are lovely pieces but quite small and would merit only a two man crew (possibly lying down).

I have included a 28mm Copplestone figure to show scale and they were quite cheap for a resin tank.....

Melanie is having a blog whoring competition giveaway over at her blog "No,Really, You Can Eat It!" where you could win Twinkies and other edible delights from the USA, I've never had a Twinkie or even a Ding Dong or a Bear Claw!!!!!.......I feel my life is not complete !

Also a picture that made me giggle and reminded me of Ray!

28mm Victorian Sci-Fi Armoured Land Train from Ironclad Miniatures.....

....with a little help from Perry Miniatures, some bodging and a little pimping for Kev!

These are from Ironclad Miniatures and are for a yet unseen female but painted contingent, figures and more armour to follow, the wagons come open topped and so with the large green plastic bases supplied in the Perry Miniatures plastic ACW  infantry box sets I had roofs that fit exactly across the roof gaps (well one had to be cut in half but width wise they were perfect and it shows how you enter the wagon as well!)

The stowage is some Old Crow bits and pieces that were lying around (could have done a bit better with them but they're wargaming models rather than show pieces, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!)

28mm Copplestone figure to show scale and size............

Original model

.....and Kev over at Kev's Wargames Cabin is having a giveaway to celebrate 30,00 hits, so head over and get commenting and pimping!

28mm Painted Victorian Sci-Fi Warlord's Army from......

.....Copplestone and Ironclad Miniatures.

The Warlords force expands for the upcoming invasion with his infantry and officer cadre, all the figures but one (eye-patch officer in front row is from Ironclad and head of the secret police) are from Copplestone, there will be some heavy equipment and armour to follow, the flag was found on the internet.

On the personal front, still unemployed, still not painting but I am farting about with bits and pieces........have a good day out there people if you can?

28mm Victorian Sci-Fi Scout Aeronef HMS "Angry" and pilots from.....

.....Ironclad Miniatures and Copplestone Castings.

A 28mm mostly resin model from Ironclad Miniatures, she has a Royal Navy crew from Copplestone Castings painted around here somewhere as well, the pilots are from Copplestone as well, this is a small part of the latest period showing the British government has a long reach and a member of the foreign office to place anywhere there's a hint of trouble or a sniff of someone else's resources!

A nice kit all the same.........
