Apologies and many thanks, just when the blogging juices start flowing again first both mine and the SWMBO's laptops died during the week, trying to get them fixed but things look terminal for both of them (currently trying to post this on an old netbook with battery issues, this is my 4th attempt in as many days and ultimately didn't work) but we passed the 1.1 million hits mark.......

When myself and Ray started blogging many years ago at GSK (sigh) and was my idea Ray(don't start Ray) I never believed 10,000 was a goal let alone 1,000,000, many thanks to those I know and those I don't who have deliberately or accidentally passed this way.......

Some bits of eye candy for your consideration as a lot of pictures of models died on that laptop........

......had an AWI game with the Rejects last weekend but no pictures as the camera died!

These are called hundreds and thousands or sprinkles in some other places (maybe not 500,000 at my last count) but I digress....last night while painting some figures I always keep the shape on my paintbrushes by inserting the tip in my mouth after dipping it in the water to clean it, I don't know if this common among figure painters but anyway last night I did this to a freshly bladed scalpel that I thought was a paintbrush.......I was lucky that in went in on the flat side and only shaved the what I believe are hairs on my tongue.....I took the scalpel back out slowly and looked at it for a good ten seconds, looked at Ray and put it down, fiddled with my tongue looking for issues but luckily there were none........

.........I'm getting old but the main thing is thanks to all the commenter's, readers and those people who visit by mistake!

As you know Ray (The Despoiler) and Anne (The Cailin) have finished the painting challenge with their fecking mice now done and voting needs to be carried out over at Anne's blog (click her name)....

Ray with a photo booth (100+ photos of the figure and he still reverted to Photoshop......), he cursed more than I do! All you could hear was fecking Anne!, fecking bitch!, fecking mouse mages!, fecking fantasy!, this is your fecking fault!

Currently having to wade through an NVQ apprenticeship that was just dropped on my lap and as they say........I'm too old for this shit!

Going on annual leave today (not really going anywhere until I'm told otherwise) and will wander around your blogs whenever I get the chance and will be back on the 10th of April.....

...but today I was told that I will be moving back on shift at work at the beginning of June (still as supervisor) due to staff losses and the site situation continuing (site still being demolished around us) but that I will be back working with Ray!!!!!!(it's getting difficult to type now due to the pain).......

.........we did work on shift together before but it took a lot of patience on my part and a lot of wisdom on his, I need to sign off now as the tears are making it difficult to continue and thanks again people!

Yesterday was a disaster, Area Manager turned up again and I had to go to Bluewater (large shopping centre in Kent) to check out a contract to try and find jobs for the boys before the end of the year when the site could be finally closed and sold.....

......didn't get back until late (brought Ray back a McDonalds and found him shouting at the computer at pictures he'd taken off models for his blog and painting challenge, cursing the sun, bad lighting and his camera...)

Some controversy yesterday with my post, some people were a little unhappy with the content but I never set out to do that, the miniatures are made and you buy them primarily for scenery and sometimes because someone actually made them. Don't get me wrong I loved the comments and opinions because we're all different and some people are not into wargaming but take the time to comment and I appreciate that a lot, a damn lot.

I will warn people in future if there is anything like this because I've painted something last week in 20mm that I believe is quite grim but happened a lot in WW2 and a lot of other conflicts over the centuries but on to the ladies of cosplay , Google and some blogs you should visit.

Seriously thanks very much again for another follower landmark, got an Area Manager on site still today (he thinks I'm doing something constructive for work) and I've forgotten to bring in my camera with pictures of Opel Blitz's and the last of the Fallschirmjager so this has helped with an easy but much appreciated post and a picture of the ONE as she contemplates my request for her to jump out of my birthday cake this month or something similarly messy.

I only mention my one year anniversary as lately so many blogs have stopped posting and I know it's usually due to real life issues, boredom or didn't make enough money but it's still sad as some of them were really good and I miss reading them but now and again they come back (and go again).

.......yes I know it's a filler post (two more area managers and a site manager today, my brain is now mush) but it doesn't take away from how much I appreciate it (all the readers and comments).....I really do.

Back to work today and I am more depressed and angrier than usual but that's to be expected after 11 days off, catching up on paperwork, emails, gripes, complaints, queries and a failed coup attempt from someone who shall remain nameless for now. Also forgot to bring my camera in with pictures of painted miniatures and ducks, so I have gone with the slightly tedious post of 100,00 views (and yes Ray proof can be provided via my stats page) but to me it's better than a picture of a painted miniature because it shows that the blog actually gets viewed and some people actually come back again.
