28mm Hinterland Princess Viktoria-Luise, Anonymous Book, Dice Shenanigans and........

...........how will you die if you found yourself in a slasher movie!

28mm figure from Hinterland Miniatures of a Princess who is a colonel in a Hussar regiment hence the death's head emblem, nice figure but deserved better, far nicer painted version on the Hinterland site.....

Andras found this picture!

Received this book from Edwin but not..... as when he ran his competition I was interested in this book in the give away but did not win as my luck with most competitions is atrocious, so anyway this arrived in the post with a note......

The note.........and thank you to my anonymous giver......much appreciated, half way through it already........

BigLee and his awful, awful dice rolling..... incredibly awful luck with dice and usually when I'm on his fecking side in a game and the challenge issued by Ray was is he the worst dice roller ever? I tried the challenge and yes he still is!!!!!

This little picture challenge tickled me.........

Seemingly I would end up as"The sinister stranger who is taken hostage at the very start of the film (pre-credits!)".

Compared to some of the outcomes this is not too bad..........

Have a good week if you can and don't forget the Google+ button for sharing and more communication between blogs,,,,,,,,,,,

BLOG-CON draws closer and Sidney Roundwood has asked for some help, BLOGGERS FOR CHARITY has had some good news and PR due to our mate Loki!

Still not started painting but getting there, just found out where I left my Mojo:D

28mm Painted Victorian Sci-Fi Tanks and Armoured Cars, adding to the Great Painters collection and.......

.....pimping Edwin!

Some nice pieces of resin and metal from Ironclad Miniatures for the Victorian (Steampunk and Pulp also) warfare shenanigans, two different forces............

28mm Copplestone figure for scale purposes........

Curt "Norse God" Campbell over at Analogue Hobbies has painted me a little piece of wargaming joy for my collection for something I did for him a while back and I've got to say it's cracking!

.........and Edwin over at Thoughts of a Depressive Diplomatist is having a competition and giving away books (which he also sells) but no picking the book on the Khyber Rifles as that's going to be mine!

28mm Victorian Sci-Fi German Marine Light Steam Tanks, Twinkies and Assholes!

We have a pair 28mm (light) Steam Tanks for the German Marines from the previous post, these mainly resin little fellas are from Ironclad Miniatures, they are lovely pieces but quite small and would merit only a two man crew (possibly lying down).

I have included a 28mm Copplestone figure to show scale and they were quite cheap for a resin tank.....

Melanie is having a blog whoring competition giveaway over at her blog "No,Really, You Can Eat It!" where you could win Twinkies and other edible delights from the USA, I've never had a Twinkie or even a Ding Dong or a Bear Claw!!!!!.......I feel my life is not complete !

Also a picture that made me giggle and reminded me of Ray!

28mm Painted Victorian Sci-Fi German Marines from........

.........Copplestone Castings.

A small contingent of Germany's finest to stake their claim in the region of Angria but mainly to annoy the British forces in the region!

May add some auxiliaries.......

My 28mm Victorian Sci-Fi British Naval Crew from.......

............Copplestone Castings!

My small British detachment for some Victorian Sci-Fi gaming (if that ever happens), 10 ratings, 4 officers, 2 pilots and an Ambassador when I find the figure I like, these were painted pre-unemployment, lovely stuff from Copplestone as usual.

Maybe some loyal native troops.......

With this they can be in any part of the country in hours....well maybe days!

28mm Victorian Sci-Fi Female Trench Raiders from Hinterland Miniatures ......

......and Magenta is the new red!

A unit of trench raiders for the forces of Angria, the elite of the elite, the hardest hitting and fighting unit in the region, the magenta piping is the unique colour and calling card of the female only forces.

Delicate but nice miniatures that deserved a better paint job but they'll do!

28mm VSF Painted Female Sailor Unit from Hinterland Miniatures.....

.......or the 1st Angrian Royal Marines.

These ladies hail from Hinterland Miniatures and the VSF homeland of Angria, delicate miniatures that deserved more but I wargame (well try to) and paint for that purpose, these ladies go with the armoured land train previously shown and they will have more armour, their elite trench raiders, a pom pom artillery piece (once I retouch it after dropping it along with a platoon of modern Russian infantry that were on the same tray). There will be a Queen and some other royalty to finish it off and we're done.........

I just wanted them painted in a more drab uniform than the white of the navy I had seen on other hinterland sailors.............with a little hint of magenta. Did I say Angria is a Matriachy!

I received an email from Jason of Hinterland Miniatures to say there were some new releases added to the range and can be seen here.

28mm figure from the DAK and Copplestone Castings to show some size and scale.......

.....these miniatures were painted quite a while ago!
