This large box turned up from Mellie Mel with just my name and some random persons name by mistake (probably meant my other half which is not Ray as some of you feckers are thinking).......looks like Jay?
Some cards, one might say Pay?........
What a box of sugary goodness..........
Also received these books from Carl when he ran a giveaway and myself and Ray won some books but Ray who was pulled out of the hat first got first choice.........but what's this I've received both book prizes, how did that happen?????
Also Ray has dragged his poor, beautiful, kind, understanding wife into the snoring/sleeping debate by posting this bitstrip on Facebook........such a fecking liar!
Nice gifts!!!
ReplyDeleteI've seen Ray's bitstrip in fb!! :)
He has no shame!
DeleteSo you keep telling us...what happens in Nottingham stays in Nottingham!
DeleteWe were there for both days man, you know nothing!
DeleteGood Luck in the challenge Fran!
ReplyDeleteI'm a first time entrant this year, so I just hope to retain my sanity and minimise the wrist cramp! I'll be happy to make my 500 points and enjoy being in the posse.
Good luck to you too Paul!
DeleteI'll be joining you in the Top 30 or 40's me thinks, no sandbagging this year I'm afraid!!! That definitely says RAY on the box he he he! You best not pig them all, we all know your a greedy heifer! and I didn't even know I'd won a prize on Carl's blog either????? Thanks Carl!!!
ReplyDeleteSo that's what you think of Carl and other peoples giveaways.....I for one am shocked sir!
DeleteKeep the books Fran, let the cheeky begger read a Newspaper instead ;-)
DeleteWhatever you say Carl, the bugger never deserved them!
Deletegood luck on the challenge if you need ant more victorian/steam punk figures drop me a line I have a ton which will never see my paint brush
ReplyDeleteI might just do that mate!
DeleteThis little fracas is keeping me well amused. Good luck with the painting challenge ;O)
ReplyDeletehaha quick hide them all before Ray gets near
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely Pat!
DeleteA box full of sugar!?! Lucky!
ReplyDeleteVery lucky!
DeleteWow, what a hell of a care package! Do we get to see a fight to the death over how this is split up?
ReplyDeleteIt will be one sided boys!
DeleteI think you're right Loki!
ReplyDeleteGood luck, hope you'll rocket past the top top 40.. all that sugar should give you some energy to paint ;)
ReplyDelete...or a cardiac arrest!
DeleteI won the same box. Mel is fantastic. Now you and Ray can try ding dongs and that's just funny.
ReplyDeleteIf I remember to share!
DeleteWait? There's not going to be a video blog of you guys eating your first ever Twinkies and Ding Dongs?
DeleteMaybe not!
DeleteI feel cheated.
DeleteSugary goodness indeed, great wins my good man.
ReplyDeleteNice one Michael!
DeleteGood luck, Fran! :-S
ReplyDeleteThanks Monty!
DeleteI may just have some Empire of the Dead stuff lying around, yours if ya want them. Just watch out for that sugar rush, and hide them from Ray..
ReplyDeleteThanks for the offer Dave, much appreciated!
DeleteYou covet those Twinkies!!!! Guard them well from the Fay guy.
ReplyDeleteBloody Fay!
DeleteWhat lovely prizes. I'm sure it says "Fran & Bay", but no idea who this Bay is :)
ReplyDeleteAs for Ray's bitstrip on FB, I left a suitable comment ;)
Good luck in the Challenge big fella!
Same to you Tamsin!
DeleteHe will have a Bay if he eats that lot!
DeleteA damn big bay!
DeleteOOh what a nice bunch of prizes
ReplyDeleteAnd of course we all believe you about the painting wink wink
Ian
Mmmmm.....Hostesse cakes. Cool loot!
ReplyDeleteWill see what they taste like!
DeleteGreat prizes Fran! Fran & something written in Chinese! :-D
ReplyDeleteGood luck in the painting challenge! I take a nice and cosy chair, a good drink and some sweeties, and watch all the nice posts over there! ;-)
Greetings
Peter
Probably the safest place Peter!
DeleteOoh, you got twinkies! Lucky you!
ReplyDeleteThanks Marcy!
DeleteBest of luck in the Challenge Fran.
ReplyDeleteThanks Scott!
DeleteGood luck with the challenge mate. I'm sure you'll be flying once you've downed a box full of sugar!
ReplyDelete...or diabetic shock?
Deleteit's a Twinkie delight! Hope you were wise enough, Fran, to eat all of Ray's part while you could :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe?
DeleteYou should put a ding dong in Ray's mouth.
ReplyDelete:D
Which would support the theory I proposed a couple of years ago...
DeleteLooks like the Rejectsare in a race for the bottom of the league this year....unless the sandbagger gets up to his old tricks.
ReplyDeleteYou mean cheat?
DeleteGood luck with the challenge Fran. I've thrown my hat into the ring for the first time this year, and will also be feverishly painting up a backlog of 28mm metals from 15th December. I may have a few Orinoco Miniatures lying around the place if you need an extra few figures to paint (gratis).
ReplyDeleteYou're a good man sir!

DeleteGrand. Ping me a private message with your postal address and I'll post you some figures.
DeleteBest of luck in the Challenge|
ReplyDeleteThanks Edwin!
DeleteGood luck Fran, and nice haul. Who says blogging doesn't pay?
ReplyDeleteEvery now and then Monty!
DeleteI am so glad customs didn't completely destroy it! I was sure they were going to steal half of it...and since you two were the top two winners you got a little extra! Congratulations again!
ReplyDeleteThanks again Mel!
DeleteBy the way.... What have you had so far and what do you think??
ReplyDeleteI've had some of the sweets and the milk duds which were lovely!
DeleteMy General, your brush assault on Analogue will surely rock the blog world. And I like twinkies.
ReplyDeleteGood man Jay!
DeleteGood luck and courage for the challenge !!
ReplyDeleteFortunately, you have ammunitions !
A lot of ammunition Sam!
DeleteNice one lads. A real 'Twinkle' in the eye present.
ReplyDeleteNice one Paul.
DeleteI feel robbed, you mention Ding dongs and there's no boobies !
ReplyDeleteGreat box of swag too, even if it did have some typos on the box and just like the books I think the legal term "Inuentoribus custodes, qui amiserint flentium" applies.
Explain because google couldn't!
DeleteFinders keepers, losers weepers (try google translate)
DeleteVery apt and will be done!
DeleteGood luck on the challenge Fran!
ReplyDeleteFran, glad to see you along!
ReplyDelete....and yourself my friend!
DeleteMan, I love twinkies. Very jealous of your haul!
ReplyDeleteBest o luck in the challenge too!
Great prize there Fran
ReplyDeleteThanks Pete.
DeleteTwinkies and Ding Dongs? I'm not sure how much of a prize that is!
ReplyDeleteI've tasted both and I tend to agree!
DeleteNice post, Fran.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the challenge and enjoy the sweets... ;-)
Thanks Stefan!
DeleteMellie really spoiled you and that random person, Kay. I hope you enjoy all those goodies and don't go into a diabetic coma from all that sugar!
ReplyDeleteI've always loved Kay but she died!
DeleteWhoa, Twinkies are still around? I thought they were dead forever!
ReplyDeleteBrought back but I'm wondering why?
DeleteEnjoy the sweets, twinkees are the best. For Thanksgiving we have started frying the turkeys and later in the evening we fry whatever else we can find; fried twinkees are superb, (not that a diabetic like me would ever know...)
ReplyDeleteWatched Blade Runner on TV earlier this week and thought of your blog.
Thanks Mike!
DeleteNice gifts, Fran. Good luck in The Challenge!!!
ReplyDeleteNice one Juan and thanks!
DeleteGroovy and tasty gifts.
ReplyDeleteGood luck in the challenge.
cheers
Opps I missed this post! Good luck with the painting challenge. As for this alleged "Sandbagging" I have seen nothing in the rules that says you cannot use tactical submissions. I know that a wargamer doing something tactical goes against the grain but technically I see nothing against it!
ReplyDeleteThat's because you're a gentleman!
DeleteHey you. Did you give Ray and Tamisin the stuff I sent you?
ReplyDeleteRay got his and I thought Tamsin would make Blog-Con but I'm posting hers out this weekend with some others.
Delete
