28mm figure from Hasslefree Miniatures called Wolsey but he looks like Shaggy from Scooby Doo to me, he has been painted to be an orderly to go with my surgeons from Black Cat Bases.
Comparison pictures to show you the scale.
L to R, 28mm Foundry and Hasslefree Miniatures
I'm so impressed with what you do :)
ReplyDeleteHe really does, but at first I thought you meant "Wolsey" sounds like something Scooby would say..! Excellent paintjob.
ReplyDeleteA boy in blue.....
ReplyDeleteYou are a terrific painter mate!!!!
T.
The way you've painted him reminds me of a hospital worker. Good to see you not going for the obvious paintjob, which I went for.
ReplyDeleteGenius idea to paint him like that. Looks superb.
ReplyDeleteZoinks!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteExcellent paint job!
ReplyDeleteIs that Ray standing next to him??
nice!
ReplyDeletenice, i love your painting style. you got skills
ReplyDeleteyep, that's shaggy alright :)
ReplyDeleteIt is shaggy!!! All you need now is a big blood hound, a blonde that stands around at an angle with on hand on her hip, an annoying know it all in a nice pullover and a androgenous red head with glasses who no-one listens to.
ReplyDelete"I´d have got away with ruling the world if it wasn´t for you pesky kids!" :-D
Cheers
paul
Really cool stuff there sir
ReplyDeleteIs it just me or was that Elvis?
ReplyDeleteHaha, you're right it does look like Shaggy. And I was going to say the same thing as Oilfield Trash - looks like Elvis!
ReplyDeleteNice one!
ReplyDeleteI was actually thinking it looked more like "28 Days Later" especially if you could green-stuff a shopping bag in the other hand...
I could go for a Scooby Snack about now.
ReplyDeletewhere's scoob?
ReplyDeleteI'm not so sure I'd trust that orderly.
ReplyDeletelove the elvis
ReplyDeleteHe's got the right attitude for Evis. Good figure and great paint job.
ReplyDelete"Honey! I just saw Elvis in the Seven-Eleven! Holding it up!"
ReplyDeleteGreat paint job!
Is he confused or doing the macarena? Good to see Elvis again.
ReplyDeletegenial

ReplyDeletegreat work man!
ReplyDeletehahahah @Rorschach i agree cool Elvis
ReplyDeleteThe dude one the right looks like Elvis, hail to the king baby!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a cop stopping Shaggy and Elvis haha
ReplyDeleteGreat interpretation on that fig. I'd have never seen "hospital worker" from the unpainted version, but it is so obvious in retrospect.
ReplyDeleteLol it does look like shaggy.
ReplyDeleteNow I want a miniature Mystery Machine that lets out clouds of smoke when you open the doors...
ReplyDeletelol you're right - just like shaggy
ReplyDeleteReally excellent paint work. Great stuff.
ReplyDeleteLOL, yeah he does look a lot like shaggy, right down to the soul patch beard. Not sure if I would want a dude like that operating on me though...
ReplyDeleteguy on the right looks like Elvis with a handgun
ReplyDeleteGreat work, Sir! And the left one looks like the bath attendent in the indoor swimming pool in my town!
ReplyDeleteYes, it's Cliff from Cheers, Shaggy and Elvis with a handgun.
ReplyDeleteAttention to the detail, looks very cute
