Some SELWG 2013 pictures, brushes from Ian, pimping and some Ronin Samurai metal!

Literally only some pictures as my camera died only an hour in to the show (I could swear I checked it, must be a Clint and his 2014 SELWG pictures moment!), I received my brushes from Ian (what a nice guy) Willey, promote some good bloggers competitions and a purchase fro SELWG 2013 to add to my Samurai forces and to have a game of Ronin.

First the pimping.......

Jonathan over at Palouse Wargaming Journal!

SELWG 2013 was a good but wet show, met some fellow bloggers and friends, I thought the trader count was down but hopefully the ones that were there did okay..........

Compulsory aerial view of the main hall..........

Bring and Buy, not a lot on offer but well attended.......

Lovely WW1 1914 game from Crush the Kaiser..........

Compulsory blog whore picture............

Some tables have better drinks and nibbles than others........

Great WW2 game "Attack on Ponyri" from the boys at Loughton Strike Force........

Excellent WW2  game from the boys at Deal Wargames Club, Russian amphibious assault on the Japanese forces on the Kurile island of Shumshu.

Beautiful  participation game from fellow blogger Simon Miller over at BigRedBatCave.............

Ray handed over my brushes from Ian at the show........

Top notch but I thought Rosemary brushes were better:P

A little loot (birthday money) from the show, 28mm ronin from North Star figures.........

....to go with the very good skirmish rules "Ronin" that I picked up a few weeks ago......

Well I do need to start using my Samurai again.............

    2. We can do that. Probably best to chat in emails. But you want f a reject game (with several involved in the "Shed of War") or just a head to head between us to get the rules firm in our minds?

  14. Great post Fran! I love that shot of the burnt out Panzer III in the field - very well done.

I'll have to look at these Ronin rules so I can put my ill-gotten mob to good use.

Also, that last pic of your Samurai collection is the t*ts! Bloody amazing.

As for the brushes, I'm sure they weren't in that state when Ian packed them. Could someone have sabotaged them? ;)

Tim just got back from a gaming conference and got to meet some bloggers as well. Blogging is so much fun and very cool that you all print pictures and have fun with it.

PS: Yesterday was my last day of work. Felt weird today. But not a bad weird.
