One of my favourite rules ever are AKULA's AR:SE zombie rules (2 page genius rules), there are in the rules zombies called tanks "In rare cases, the zombie virus mutates the corpse, into a stronger, more aggressive zombie", they are also hard as feck to kill! In 28mm I found some unique figures to represent tanks but in 15mm I couldn't find anything I liked but I saw some plastic nurglings on ebay and a little bodging later I ended up with these guys to represent the tanks...........
15mm eureka mini to show scale, would have liked the tanks to be bigger but they'll work fine.........
Blog-Con this Saturday folks.........
This arrived yesterday as an early Christmas present from the family.........
What a great can opener.......
.....and I'm now off to load my PS3 game and save the world and piss off all those online gamers!
Wicked critters, Fran!
ReplyDeleteHope the drugs work and you can stay awake. Someone has to keep an eye on Ray.
I'll do my best for the sake of others!
Delete3 figures that look just like their owner! What a find! I hope you're not thinking of dressing like that at Blog-Con this weekend? And NO fecking alcohol??? Tablets are for wimps!
ReplyDeleteKiss my ass you drunken swine!
DeleteWe do not open cans like that in France ... but we should try ... I'll talk to my wife ...
ReplyDeleteBtw, great looking...dancing guy, nice and funny!
Phil.
Thanks for that Phil!
DeleteGood lord. I need a new can opener.
ReplyDeleteHAH WTF is that thing standing on its head???? Ive got the AR:SE rules - never played them though.
Great simple rules, the Rejects who hate anything modern or fancy.....actually loved them!
Deleteerrr ? wot?
DeleteShut up idiot!
Deleteam I seeing naked bums in those first pics? :)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely my friend!
DeleteLots of stuff going on in this post. First, and most important, I hope you get better soon. It sounds like you've been battling this for a while. Is it wrong to say I think your minis are cute? Lucky you, getting COD. I may get it for my son for Christmas if he doesn't get it first.
ReplyDeleteI believe they are cute, thanks!
DeleteI hope you begin to feel well soon. 4 times to the Docs that's about 12 years worth in my book. The figures look great. You have a keen eye at spotting alternative figure uses. I would not have thought of nurglings, excellent choice.
ReplyDeleteThanks Clint, same with me and doctors visits.....I avoid them like the plague!
DeleteYeah there are lots of sick people at the docs, you never know what you might catch!
DeleteAs for the can opener, I have to wonder about Stretch marks.
If I don't reply again have a great time on the weekend. And don't be shy with the camera. But please no picks of Ray.... unless it's really embarrassing!
Consider it done!
Deletehaha they don't mind baring all and wouldn't mind that can opener
ReplyDeleteIt's bare faced cheek Pat!
DeleteThose are some wild-ass models. Literally!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon.
Oh, nice can opener! Every home should have one.
Thanks Jonathan.
DeleteGet better soon, but glad that you got some PS3 game to help pass the time at least :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit of an addict with the PS3 usually.
DeleteHope you get feeling better, Fran! Great nurgling- now zombie models too. I didn't see any can opener, a lovely lass kept distracting me! ;)
ReplyDeleteMaybe an eye test?
DeleteYeah. I hope you get better, too! nicely painted miniatures. With those poses they could be used as some kind of circus performer!
ReplyDeleteAnd of course you became a "Ghost", though I don't like the outcome of those new CoD and Battlefield games. Can someone imagine playing the Original CoD oder Ghost Recon? In my opinion much better than most games are today.
Oh, I see you posted Jordan Carver. Well, though she is native German I don't like her. She is not even pretty. And her chest is way too "artificial", if you know what I mean ;-D
Take care
Stargazer
Didn't know that was her name, thanks for that!
DeleteThose are some disturbing looking figures, hope you start to feel better for the weekend maybe a few bits of Chocolate Birthday cake will help. See you at the weekend
ReplyDeleteWhose birthday cake?
DeleteI always knew you were sick....
ReplyDeleteSee you Sunday mate.
Thanks git!
DeleteThey look like fun little critters. Nice models.
ReplyDeleteCool mischievous little guys! I got some cans she can open.
ReplyDeleteChristopher
She can take as long as she wants mate!
DeleteNice alternative griblies Fran. Hope you feel better for the weekend. Damn working nights and cant be there :-(
ReplyDeleteSad to hear mate!
DeleteI like the Zed tumblers, General. Perform their act, then eat the audience.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jay!
DeleteHope your feeling better for the weekend, I am looking forward to the kick in the crackers ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh what tin opener?
Ian
Assume the position matey!
DeleteEnjoy blog con, and hopefully it will help you get over the bug you have. Your missus looks like a bit of alright there, better than the tank zombies. Don't know where you find these things but you must have one of the most unique range of miniatures around.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dan!
DeleteNice idea with the zombie tanks the look great. Must get one of those can openers. I seriously doubt I'll get past the SWMBO!
ReplyDeleteThere's always a chance?
DeleteThose arse Zombies are great
ReplyDeleteHave fun at blog con....
PS;
Best tin opener ever...the one´s given out in each Operational Ration Pack made by W. P. Warren Engineering Co., Ltd. Still got the first one I ever got, 30 plus years later and still going strong.
Thanks Paul!
DeleteGreat looking zombies but I more like the can opener ;-)
ReplyDeleteRegards
Bruno
Why mate?
DeleteFirst of all she looks very pretty but the important thing is that she has foooooood!
DeleteI thought so!
DeleteThat's a motley crew of zombies, for sure.
ReplyDeleteI like that....motley!
DeleteThose are hilarious Fran. Nice!
ReplyDeleteNot a problem Jonas, glad it made you smile!
DeleteBums and boobies! Great post! :-D Sorry Fran but I couldn't find the can opener! :-(
ReplyDeleteNice painted minis and have fun saterday!
Greetings
Peter
Nice one Peter!
DeleteYou've got to love these posts, some much loveliness to look at!
ReplyDeleteGlad you like it Michael!
DeleteIt would be a nice Secret Santa!
ReplyDeleteThose guys are seriously 'cute'... as is the ...errr... can opener ;-) More kitchen appliances please ;-)
ReplyDeleteA blender next!
DeleteSo twisted! If a zombie pointed its bare ass at me like that, I'd be more horrified than seeing it eat someone. Speaking of eating, I need to eat something out of a can. Where the hell is my can opener and why doesn't it look quite that nice!
ReplyDeleteIt's a special edition Monty!
DeleteNice job on the "tanks." They are going to look great in a game. Feel better for Blog-Con.
ReplyDeletePay attention to the alcohol warning!
Will do Mike!
DeleteSorry to hear of your malady. Get well soon, mate !
ReplyDeleteAnyway the critters look good and this can opener is eye candy for each and every kitchen.
;-)
Thanks Stefan!
DeleteThanks to Stargazer for providing a name to the awesome lass with the tin opener. But how on earth can he say she's not even pretty. I think she's gorgeous! Three cheers for Jordan Carver,
ReplyDeleteI thought the same Bryan, I wouldn't kick her out of the bed for eating hobnobs!
DeleteLove the nurglings!
ReplyDeleteGood to hear the meds are working and you can make the con. Best, Dean
ReplyDeleteThanks for that Dean.
DeleteWhat a horrifying creature. I bet if that one on its hands started waddling toward me I'd just be too hypnotized by its weird jiggling ass to even run.
ReplyDeleteIt's a dastardly weapon!
DeleteYou are right everyone needs a can opener. Housework will never bee the same with this one, really.
ReplyDeleteNice models really funny dudes. Reminds me of me after the last barbecue party and a tiny too much beer....;->
That sounds like a damn good barbecue.
DeleteMen and doctors: no way man!
ReplyDeleteNice work! Hope everything works out!
Doctors are bloody guessers!
DeleteVery nice models for a fantastic ruleset.
ReplyDeleteI expect you are better now!!!
Not really, had a relapse!
DeleteThe can opener is fantastic! Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteI'm trying!
DeleteHope you're feeling better soon, Fran!
ReplyDeleteThanks Chris!
DeleteThose zombies are so fun!!!
ReplyDeleteMy cousin sent me this; it made me think of your facebook histories:
http://www.buzzfeed.com/tomphillips/the-history-of-the-world-according-to-the-daily-mail-sidebar
That as quite cool Mich!
DeleteTits and ass... a healing inspiration.
ReplyDeleteVery healing!
DeleteHope the best for your continued recovery. Those things look AWESOME.
ReplyDeleteI love that can opener.
Glad to hear my friend!
Deletethat upside down Zombie butt crack took me for a bit haha but that can opener truly was amazing. ha
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting for CoD: Ghosts myself still =/
It's not too bad at all Jim!
DeleteGood God man take care of yourself! Do hope you're feeling better and can enjoy Blog Con this weekend. Btw those are the coolest figures you've ever posted. Love 'em!
ReplyDeleteI'm still not in the mood to come back yet. Life is still a shit sandwich and I can't cope with having contact with people, however brief it may be.
Okay cailin, we'll wait for you!
DeleteLove those tanks! And I'll probably want to borrow that accessory using the can opener sometime next week. Stay cool, and beat those online punks at Bops Ghost, Fran!
