More 28mm Old West Buildings open for business in Angry!

Back at work for the first time in 2013, first MaccyD breakfast of the year (yum but don't tell Ray's missus as he'll get in trouble), actually painting Perry ACW Union figures for the challenge but have some old west buildings for the up and coming town of Angry. Have found out from comments here and TMP that they are actually Hovels buildings, lovely stuff but the downside is only some of their range have lift off roofs but what can you do!

  5. I guess some of them are meant only for display but the town is coming along nicely.

  6. You've done a good job on them. Shame about the roofs and you can guarantee that players will want to go into the ones whose roofs don't lift off. Stupid players.

  7. Great buildings. I love the old west and the look of these are real nice. Reminds me to put the town I painted a few years back online as well. Look forard to see more and of course the first reports from the shootouts

  8. Very nice Fran, are these the same building from the last time you painted up hordes of 28mm ACW-Cowboys and Indians??? And will we get a game with them this time???

  9. Calliope once more make her appearance...

    I strode down the street, and Joris and he;
    I walked, Dirck stalked, we talked all three.
    'Go get 'em!' cried the barman as he stepped inside.
    'Get 'em!' echoed the townsmen as they drew aside;
    From the perils of the gun fight all of them shied,
    But stayed to watch what would the contest betide.

    I drew forth my pistol and Joris and he;
    I fired, Dirck fired, we fired all three.
    'Good shot!' cried the undertaker as the foe bit the dust.
    'Shot!' echoed the townsmen, 'The gun fight was just!'
    That outlaw gang's career's gone bust,
    And all because we three fired fust.

    Happy New Year,
    Ion

  18. Great looking buildings. I expect there are a lot of gunfights in a town called "Angry." I'm guessing the undertaker must be a millionaire.

  20. Looking good Fran, you definitely need to get a game in with those. I'm starting to get swamped with Wild West buildings out here, but I still need to get them painted.

  23. I'd order a house from you, Lurk, but I'm afraid the first wind would blow it away and us three little pigs would be defenceless from the wolf...

  36. They look grand! Am I right in thinking the one building of the three you can't break into is the Sheriff's office? Old Stumpy must be in there with a shotgun waiting for John T. Chance to return.

  39. Very nice. In my days of gaming Wild West, I had some paper buildings, which have since been lost in a basement flood. Yours would have survived for sure!
