A care package, eye moisture and I'm coming back........again!

Ray has been nagging me about my blogging output this year and I was bitching about him not sending my goddaughters Christmas present from last year, so slackbladder says that he would be at the other Partizan and did I want anything, I initially ( after initial paralysis) said a couple of MDF bases and some basing material if he was feeling flush ( if you knew the old Ray this was funny).

Then a couple of days ago this arrived, a little battered and bruised.........

The top box contained the unpainted 28mm Trelawney's  Dumbarton's Regiment of Foot 1685 and after noticing the little hole I'm hoping the whole amount he sent too!

Speechless........

The air was quite dusty that day and some random air blown grit caused some moisture to accumulate in my ocular region, now a lot of you fellow bloggers and people who have met Ray have said what a bollox he is but finally he is a good sweet caring bollox!

Now back to blogging (feeling a lot better) I continue with my 15mm modern and sci-fi work when I can but may post the odd movie or book review as caravan life permits..........

Angry blogger rant, Safia Gaddafi, Salute 2012 bad news, won a competition and boobies....

Blogger is giving me arseache at the moment, deleted my blogroll due to the fact you couldn't add anybody to it any more, I then did another blogroll (which took fecking ages) and entered all my favourite blogs again minus a few fecking dead ones and everything was fecking fine and now it's stopped me adding fecking blogs again, can't get any answers from blogger but now they're really arse invading us with this new Captcha fecking arse water..........

....even this guy trying to be funny got it fecking wrong!

I'm already angry enough without having to squint and shout at the computer more than I usually fecking do and then have (mild mannered , fecking bollox) Ray who is on days this week coming in and fecking ranting about Captcha to me because he's physically fecked and blind as fecking well, for fecks sake blogger sort yourself out.....

The Rejects are not doing the WW2 game at Salute 2012 now due to the organiser Paul Darnell having to pull out due to work issues but we'll still be going as fecking punters and hope to meet up with fellow bloggers there....

I entered a competition over at Retro-Zombie about filling in the blanks in a comic and I fecking won and I won a  puzzle page?, I'd rather win his current competition which is easy to enter where the prize is a zombie head pencil holder, give the boy a visit......

The last two panels were blank and something came over me and I'm not fecking sorry......

Who is William Black?

Received an email yesterday from Amazon.com to say William Black had sent me or I had won a Kindle novel of Infected by Scott Sigler, I was delighted as I like free stuff and just wanted to thank him. Now most bloggers use psudenoms and don't use their real names and that's not a problem, so if you're out there William thank you but it's unavailable to customers in the UK. I do have a kindle app and still haven't read a book this way yet but would like to, apologies for not knowing who you are and even greater apologies if I do know you and have had a brain fart.

Blogging?

Yesterday got away from me, an area manager and a site manager down to visit site for seven and a half hours, tested my patience and small talk skills.

 I visited a blog that lost it's Google adsense recently and the owner said if it didn't come back the blog would no longer be posting because it wasn't worth it, I don't place any adds on my blog but that's just me, I don't have a problem with it on other blogs, I blog for enjoyment, relaxation and a mild form of anger therapy. This brings me to my point of blog following, I always comment on anybody who comments on my blog or visit them again if they haven't posted recently, I then visit my favourite blogs regardless of whether they visit me or not and then I hit my blogroll which is made up of over 300 favourites,visitors and commenter's blogs. And finally my point, please read or comment on peoples blogs if you follow them or try to read and follow more, I do and it's opened the world up to myself who hasn't seen a lot of it and even made a few new friends and that's saying something. Rant over.

Got a game this weekend with the Rejects (will post pictures next week), it's also a 3 day weekend here and you people who read or comment have yourselves a damn good weekend.

Daleks or blogging is sometimes more than just reading.

Bear with me but I will get to the point, the Dr.Who magazine recently gave away with an issue 25/28mm plastic daleks (approx 16 per issue I believe) and I said to myself I'll get some of them because they work out really cheap and it may be an avenue I will go down and basically all wargamers are hoarders. Could I find any, could I feck, even stopped a newsagent that delivers to my site and asked him to see what he could do (nothing, so he gets constantly searched now).

Anyway while commenting on the excellent blog Paul's Bods http://paulsbods.blogspot.com/ I mentioned that myself and Ray from Don't throw a 1 http://onelover-ray.blogspot.com/ were having difficulty finding some and Paul says I have spare you can have them, he had mentioned about some robots I had and how he would convert them amd lo and behold he sends me Daleks from Germany (his sister had sent them to him from the UK) and I sent him 28mm robots and the blogging world is a smaller place. (still haven't given Ray his share until he coughs up some postage LOL)

The first blog I ever followed is Vampifan's World of the Undead http://vampifansworldoftheundead.blogspot.com/ and recently he published that he had an article in the magazine Dadi &Piombo about 28mm zombie wargaming and the post can be seen here http://vampifansworldoftheundead.blogspot.com/2011/02/vampifans-views-07.html and is richly deserved, anyway he got some spare copies and if you asked for one he would post it to you free of charge, I believe I responded too late but no he had a spare one (which he was going to keep for himself as a spare as he had already given away the the 5 free ones he wanted to but no and an email later it should be in the post today or tomorrow, so I get a magazine that I read and like at no expense, the blogging world at it's best.(I owe you one Vampifan)
