Some nice stuff in this just released kickstarter and 15mm too plus it goes on sale for other mortals in October I believe, lots of plastic 15mm figures and scenery..........

15mm Modern African Forces "The New Simbas".....

.........rumors leak that Rayonia is financing insurgency in Franonia?

Who needs some modern African forces for shenanigans in my country of Franonia, seemingly I do?

All these boys are from Peter Pig and represent a warlord/dictators force with armour to spread his influence or be bought off/hired by greedy countries....

The armour is three old T-55's, some unimogs and a land rover .......

15mm Ironclad Miniatures Shanty Shacks or housing in Rayonia!

Got these from Ironclad Miniatures at a show this year, not bad resin models at all, Rayonia seems to have a lot of them at the moment and listed as modern affordable housing, nothing like this in Franonia!

Put some Peter Pig figures to show size and scale and apologies again for the pictures!

Franonia Map nearly finished.....

Yesterday got away from me with work demanding some attention........

The map is nearly finished, myself and Ray have just to add names to the cities and towns (various sized black dots), there are now borders for the regions (6), airports, roads, rivers, mines, oilfields and army barracks....

We didn't want to crowd the map too much but if you'd like to stake a claim and name a city or town or one of the 4 regions (red lined areas) left go for it!

The scale will be small with about 120 miles by 120 miles.

15mm Rayonian BTR-70 Armoured Personnel Carriers.

8 wheeled "armoured transporter" (it's what BTR stands for!), 11.5 tonnes, 3 crew and 7 passengers, 14.5mm KPVT machine gun and 7.62mm PKT machine gun and 50mph!

Ray has been bleating for more armoured support and I got these from QRF (minus the 7.62mm machine gun on 2 and a stub on the third!), not the best but they'll do.

Well I'm hoping it's the BTR-70 and not the BTR-60 as they looked the same.....

15mm Rayonian Bodyguard Infantry "The Ironsides".

With their infamous red berets "The Ironsides" protect their upstart warlord from assassination within and without his cartel, well paid and well motivated they are the last line of defence for Rayonia!

Their nickname comes from their leaders inability to get out of a chair too often!

Back at work today, didn't really do much but attended two games (1813 Napoleonic Peninsular and Nine Years War) and will post some pictures this week.......

........just a quick one today as I'm catching up at work, Ray helped me with some flags for the new countries!

15mm Private Security Contractor Team.

The boys from Thoinwater Security Consulting provide 15mm close protection for the discerning diplomat or news team travelling in the worlds wargaming hot spots like Franonia or Rayonia!

The figures are from Rebel Minis, they're not bad figures and you get 4 poses and get 5 of each pose so I farted about trying to make sure they're not too uniform but still giving them a certain company look? I have painted two news teams from Peter Pig to go with these and a couple of businessmen!

The vehicles (Toyota's) and gunners are from Peter Pig but I need something more modern like range rovers and may have to go 1:87 scale!

A lot of guys in my industry and some I even know have gotten their close protection licences to go into this dangerous line of work and I hope somebody got what the name of my company means!
