Inspring Picture 19: Survival and 75,000 hits.....thanks very much.

This picture reminds me of the joke about two wildlife documentary cameramen filming a pride of lions in Africa when the pride decides to move and head towards the two cameramen with possible mischief in their eyes and heart, one of the cameramen starts to put on his running shoes he had in his bag, his colleague turns to him and says" you'll never outrun them", his colleague responds by saying "it doesn't matter as long as I outrun you!"

75,000 hits, thanks very much people.

  2. This happened to me! Well, not me but one of my Characters in a D&D game. Our group stumbled upon a Dire Bear in a forest. It hadn't noticed us but then the Dwarf (played by a rash and reckless friend) decided to attack the creature. The Bear far outclassed us and soon we realised if we didn't leg it we were all dead. So we ran like hell.

Unfortunately the dwarf was slower than his human companions and, more importantly, slower than the bear... the resultant screaming only made the rest of us run harder.

  22. Congratulations on the milestone, and RE: Pic and joke, it says something about me that I'd only ever heard it before with zombies instead of wild animals as the predators in question.

  26. Yeah, actually as soon as I saw this, I thought back to my Saturday night. But I've been in a similar situation where a friend and I were looking for mushrooms in a cow pasture in Florida and ended up getting chased away by w very large bull who somehow knew our love of steak and held an obvious grudge.
