15mm Fantasy Houses and Hovels.......

.....from Alternative Armies!

Got these sent to me by a friend earlier in the year but they had remained on the resin pile for quite a while but my friend Daniel who is a big Star Wars Legion fan and who was in a painting slump at the time, so I ended up painting a Fleet Trooper unit for him earlier this year and recently he was looking for a drastic change in his painting queue and hey presto I got these done.......

They are from Alternative Armies and could be used for other periods as well as Fantasy.....

....I like his painting skill (he's a damn good painter) and it gives a boost to a little painting slump or lethargy!

Figure is a 15mm Battle Valor villager for scale help, picture quality is the usual clusterfeck.....

Nicely done Daniel, he may need more drastic changes in his painting queue........

Do they require basing?

The Legion fleet troopers in question.........

  3. The troopers look good.
Daniel really gave the houses some personality. Pat's right though - don't mess with that woman's houses!

  12. I´d like those in 1/72nd. Do they require basing? Good Question and one that ´ve asked myself a lot, do Buildings require basing? I´ve based some but only as a fixed Setting and as a Group but My answer tends towards no as basing can Limit thier use and sometimes the basing can end up as terra forming…"I will create the whole of the world which at the Moment only exists in my fevered imgination!!..muhaha!!!"

  15. A very fair exchange and lovely work all round. I must admit I prefer painting figures to buildings.
