Painted 28mm Hazmat Team from Hasslefree Miniatures, you can see another (better) painted version on Vampifan's blog
http://vampifansworldoftheundead.blogspot.com/2011/04/hasslefree-hazmat-troopers.html along with versions from Copplestones Castings and EM4 Miniatures. I think I was a bit heavy with the ink on these but they are lovely figures (if a little small) but we need more poses to go with them.
Size and scale pictures included.
L to R, 28mm Heresy Miniature and 28mm Copplestone Casting.
28mm Hasslefree Miniature
Good stuff, I think your version is as good as the one on the link. I like the weathered/dirty effect.
ReplyDeleteI prefer your dirty yellow versions too (yellow is THE colour for Hazmat, right?)
ReplyDeleteMaybe some light blue/white shine on the visors as well...
I like the yellow tent too, when can we expect Patient0 to turn?
Double Whammy! Great stuff sir!
ReplyDeleteMan, these are just awesome!
ReplyDeleteI like the paintjobs and I like the figs too. Must go and have a look at the Hasslefree web page
ReplyDeleteThat effect is stunning, like thick rubber well-used, very stylised.
ReplyDeletewow, they really have everything with these miniatures! :D
ReplyDeleteNice job. They look like they've been in the field for a while.
ReplyDeleteSo much paint detail.... And woah, is that Predator? lol
ReplyDeletePerfect! Now you have a proper zombie huntin team!
ReplyDeleteDon't knock yourself, Fran. those are well painted minis. But how could you fail with the high quality of the sculpts.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link. I'll return the favour.
I agree with you 100% - we need more figures in this range.
The blue masks look kinda funny. I like em tho.
ReplyDeleteMuddy and dirty Fran!
ReplyDeleteI like them!
Don't be so hard on yourself!
T.
They look great! Reminds me of halo just a little bit!
ReplyDeleteI'm liking the gear, they camouflage well :D
ReplyDeleteNice Job mate, these look like they have had a few Zombie 'run ins', must be Hazmat week or something...
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job with those.
ReplyDeleteThey look great. The guy with the remington shotgun...who is that??
ReplyDeleteCheers
paul
awesome man!!!!
ReplyDeletenice pix....
We have to wear hazmat suits at work sometimes. I wish they also gave us assault rifles.
ReplyDeletethat predator figure rules so much.
ReplyDeleteVery cool Angry L, very cool indeed!
ReplyDeleteCheers
Paul
Cool, must be hard to paint xD
ReplyDeleteHazmat suits and heavy weaponry? An awesome combination.
ReplyDeleteThe last hazmat suit I had to wear was a bright orange. I'll take the camo look any day.
nice
ReplyDeleteThose little dudes have everything...I wonder if they are anatomically correct If you can't my drift. don't mind me, I'm just a pervert. And I'm a product of public school because I'm not sure if I spelled "anatomically" correctly lol
ReplyDeletelooking good, reminds me of halo
ReplyDeletelove teh bright visors
ReplyDeleteGreat job with the whole miniatures set ups. Very cool the way you did it.
ReplyDeleteCool as always. Love it when there are soldiers or nuns or heck even Elvis and then out of nowhere A GOD DAMN PREDATOR. wicked
ReplyDeleteNicely done. Just needs a little monkey running around like some Michael Crichton novel.
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge fan of using inks for shading. Right up to the point that there are pools of the stuff all over the fig. From the pictures, it looks like you inked 'em up fine.
ReplyDeletegreat post! keep up the good work
ReplyDeleteZombies don't stand a chance with that killer hazmat team... and predator...
ReplyDeleteLooking good, did you make the tent?
ReplyDeleteThose suits look really good, the guys head looks a little too big though :x
ReplyDeleteCool miniatures that are nicely painted.
ReplyDeleteCheers
Christopher
great looking team...
ReplyDeleteThat predator one looks awesome
ReplyDeleteGreat work Angry
ReplyDeleteAgrred with Porky--look at your header photo, at the gloves in particular, for comparison.
ReplyDeleteAre those Bullpups they are carrying?
Hazmat team also looks like Intel processor ad models :)
ReplyDeleteQuite impressive
That no doubt is a really cool collection! Predator rules! :)
ReplyDeleteyou guys ever hear of the blue man group...
ReplyDeleteOh wow cool set! Come check me out, alphabetalife.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteNo, I don't think you went to heavy with the ink at all. I like how the intricate detail goes right down to the vegetation they stand on!
