Picked some of these up in Modelzone at Bluewater from Oxford Diecast (can also be found on Amazon) for a bit of scenery for my WW2 English village countryside, I think they can be used for the period (probably not but what can you do as they look the part and were £3.50 each).
Put in a 20mm SGTS Mess figure for scale purposes and have picked up a police car as well since.
Nice cars. At that sort of price they will be ok.
ReplyDeleteNice cars and I think they will fit in nicely with your English village.

They tie in well with the period you're gaming. Good find!
ReplyDeleteVery good price for some nice eye candy. Good buy.
ReplyDeleteGood bargain, they look fine to me and the scale seems perfect.
ReplyDeleteI have some farmer relatives that would love that tractor.
ReplyDeleteI think that nun's going to steal one of these cars.
ReplyDeleteThat would be rather posh village with such cars :)
ReplyDeleteNice find and they look pretty darn good. I like a lot of modelzones stuff just don't have the funds to buy it.
ReplyDeleteI love love love these. They are absolutely so cute. My son is a car fan, and on his name I enjoy his diecast car figurines. Yours perfect.
ReplyDeleteNice. They look right to scale.
ReplyDeleteThey remind me of the Matchbox classics. We considered saving them perfect in the box and now they would be worth thousands, but instead we wrecked them utterly. These were around 1968-1969 classics from Matchbox.
ReplyDeletenice cars, Lurk, the black one especially!
ReplyDeleteThe scale seems perfect. I think I've got a tractor like that somewhere. Thank you for the idea.
ReplyDeleteis it just me or does she look like the flying nun? lol.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the nun. Nice touch.
ReplyDeleteNice find. May the tractor fit small 28mm figure ?
ReplyDeleteNice touch, they look good. Did Ray paint them?
ReplyDeleteNever mind the cars, that nun looks rad!
ReplyDeleteVery nice. That nun seems very disapproving of the cars.
ReplyDeleteThose are great!
ReplyDeleteNice...the old hotwheels motors are good as well...flea markets and jumble sales are heaving with them...new paint job..and bingo..the vicar´s got some more communion wine....(it was the nun that made me think that...honest:-) )
ReplyDeleteCheers
Oaul
I didn't know wargamers did little cars too! Well done.
ReplyDeletethose cars are excellent
ReplyDeleteThose model cars are a lot nicer than the ACTUAL car I drive. that makes me sad.
ReplyDeleteNice blog.
those are some fancy Bruce Wayne style vintage autos my friend.
ReplyDeletei like that green car. it looks vicious
ReplyDeletetractor wins
ReplyDeleteA great find and not to be sniffed at for the money.
ReplyDeleteI don't know man, that nun looks like she is up to something. I wouldn't trust her.
ReplyDeletethat nun doesn't look out of place at all. ;)
ReplyDeleteWhile driving to work one morning I passed a huge, and I mean HUGE John Deere. The flipping thing could have eaten my car, it was that big.
ReplyDeleteOh Angry, I love these cars. Today's cars have no style, no class. These are beauties. It would be nice to see these things driving down the road. (The environment and the price of petrol aside)
ReplyDeleteGreat buy Fran!!!
ReplyDeleteScale looks just fine. Should add some "get-up and go" to the game.
ReplyDeletenice. I wouldn't mind having the tractor to dress up some farm fields
