Some US Marine Humvees (they have a deep wading exhaust and intake unlike the army version seemingly) from Peter Pig, not too bad a model (a lot of mold lines), the crew figures are cast with their weapon, a mixture of .50 cal HMG's, Mark 19 grenade launchers and a TOW launcher.
Looking realy nice !
ReplyDeleteHumvees are cool but I suppouse the Insurgent will shoot big holes in them if they don´t keep the speed up:)
Best regards Dalauppror
Lovely HUMMWV action!
ReplyDeleteWell painted Fran.
Oh, I really like your USMC miniatures and vehicles...and I would like to have their firepower in my upcoming FoF battle against the Russian army.
ReplyDeleteMobile cal. 50s and auto-grenade-launchers are a nice addition to your little army.

Very nice work mate.
ReplyDeleteLovely! You got yourself a nice CAAT there!

digging the hummers... as a good man should!
ReplyDeleteGreat painting Francois!!!
ReplyDeletegreat work Fran :)
ReplyDeleteHmmmm, I can see them acting as an escort to those limos you posted the other week
The Humvees are sweet. The only bad thing about them is they use a lot of petrol. Franonia will need it's own supply of crude to keep them going. I would suggest using any POw's you acquire (Ray), to start digging a pipeline to bring in foreign crude if you don't have your own Angry.
ReplyDeleteLooking good, Fran. They're a nice addition to your forces.
ReplyDeleteGood work Angry, but contrast, I have (almost) finished one in the time it's taken you to do five; ha - I'm worthless :)
ReplyDeleteSome nice gear there Angry A!
ReplyDeleteNicely done Sir! They look great; loved Anne's comment, but how are Franonia's natural deposits looking? ;)
ReplyDeleteVery smart indeed, Fran. There's a chap near where I live who drives one very fast down Hertfordshire single-tracked roads. I know they're only "soft-skins" but it's always looked pretty formidable to me. You've done them justice!
ReplyDelete(they have a deep wading exhaust and intake unlike the army version seemingly)
ReplyDeleteThe US Army wont go in the water :)
Nicely painted stuff there, Fran. When someone paints up vehicles, I always look at the glass and the 'dust'. Great job on both!
The fortress looks nice
ReplyDeleteNice work as usual!
ReplyDeleteGreat looking squad Fran. Are we likely to see some heavy support in the form of some Abrams soon?
ReplyDeleteGot some AAV-7A1 coming....
DeleteExcellent work those look great.
ReplyDeleteThey look great, now the guys can really get around fast.
ReplyDeleteGood stuff. Are we going to see them in action?
ReplyDeleteHopefully.....
DeleteReally like the humvees!
ReplyDeleteCool Humvees, and they almost look like the ones Arnold Swarchenegger drives out here. Glad he's not my Gov. anymore.
ReplyDeleteDamn gas hog!
LOL!
Cool stuff Lurker :-)
These are damned nice, good job. This project or your Sea Lion project might do for a demonstration game in the future.
ReplyDeleteThe details on the little Humvees are incredible!
ReplyDeleteThose Hummers look great, nice weapon mix. Franonia will be a tough nut to crack.
ReplyDeleteThose are sweet. I love the different turret configurations.
ReplyDeleteVery nice vehicles, with a great painting job.
ReplyDeleteSweet! Franonia is evolving nicely.
ReplyDeleteHumvees look so perfect.
ReplyDeleteGreat paint job! The Humvees look great and the detail on the tires is excellent!
ReplyDeletevery nicely done Fran. The weathering is done really well
ReplyDeleteVery cool, the deep water intakes really do set them apart (for those who look for such things).
ReplyDeleteThose look great. Now if I could just find some for my Marines in 20mm I would be happy.
ReplyDeleteI love these modern 15mms .... gonna get me some as well !!!
ReplyDeleteThey're looking pretty good.
ReplyDeletehumvees look awesome. need a kill count painted on em for awesome uniqueness
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely and look the part.

I want one of those Humvees.
ReplyDeleteVery cool stuff Fran! Peter Pig makes some nice figs and I've been looking at their Samurai.
ReplyDeleteChristopher
What? No ass crack today?
ReplyDeleteThose cars look great!
ReplyDeleteI like the guys popping up from the roof with their guns. Perhaps you can do a series with teenagers going to their prom, popping out of limos and holding bottles? Just kidding!
ReplyDeleteMighty cherry lookin' rides.
ReplyDeleteRay had better get a bulldozer to help with that digging job.
ReplyDeleteExcellent paint job. Let us know how they do in battle.
ReplyDeleteNot bad at all, I like the detail
ReplyDeleteFran, these look great! Time for a battle report...
ReplyDeleteFantastic Fran. Very impressive work there young man.
ReplyDeleteHumvees turned out really well, I like what you have done with the Peter Pig Us marines, flatout awesome!
ReplyDeleteSome were practical, of course, but others were psychological and emotional.
