28mm Victorian Sci-Fi Female Trench Raiders from Hinterland Miniatures ......

......and Magenta is the new red!

A unit of trench raiders for the forces of Angria, the elite of the elite, the hardest hitting and fighting unit in the region, the magenta piping is the unique colour and calling card of the female only forces.

Delicate but nice miniatures that deserved a better paint job but they'll do!

  7. These look lovely Fran, your being to hard on yourself.

As for the heat it's playing havoc with my paints drying faster even with the help of floaid

  8. great stuff Fran. but I am sure some very willing men would love to go over the top first for them. just to soak up the enemies ammunition so the girls can get over and reach the other side...

... where they will then kill all those who stand in their way.

  11. They're nice figures, sure enough, but not my thing I'm afraid. However, i bet they could be worked in to some colonial/VBCW scheme. Young Hicks again, so with a punt.

    :O)

  15. Damn fine painting, sir! I can't wait to see these lovelies in an AAR one day!

  16. You did a fine job on these faces Fran and on those gas masks as well. Now you must be careful around these ladies as they are heavily armed. If one of them asks you to marry her, you'll have to think twice about saying "No"

    1. I meant to say this in my comment:

I like the background you shot these against. The figures pop right out and your work shows up much better this way.

  19. They look great, Fran. Not only the paint job, but the sculpts look good too. The guy standing without his gas mask on, as well as the guy next to him adjusting his mask are really nicely done. Best, Dean

  46. Very nice job indeed! I've just bought some hinterland figures and they are very small. I was hoping to use them for In Her Majesty's Name but they are too small sadly. 25mm foot to eye as opposed to 29mm for the North Star figures...
