Back at work today, didn't really do much but attended two games (1813 Napoleonic Peninsular and Nine Years War) and will post some pictures this week.......
........just a quick one today as I'm catching up at work, Ray helped me with some flags for the new countries!
Gotta say I must go with Franonia (sorry Ray!) that cool flag has a real Germanic appeal (I'm currently painting germans for Fow and looking to do Prussians / Bavarians for VSF).
Keep up the good work, I look forward to reading your battle reports.
Welcome back Fran. The flags look good, although I thought I might see some ripple effects (cough, cough). Can't wait to see the mighty forces of Franonia in action.
I wound up in the bloody ER today. Hadn't played The Beast in so long I really gave it a beating. When I came down over that big crash simple, I felt the feckin' muscle go, but I ignored it and kept playing for another two hours. Not the smartest thing I've ever done, but the pain pills are making me pretty happy right now.
Great idea on the flags as the look really nice!

ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see this dispute play out.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, have you guys ever stated what rules will be used for this game with your own countries?
ReplyDeleteAmbush Alley Adam....
DeleteI'm looking into it now. I try not to get distracted too much, but this country vs country game is inspiring.
DeleteWill you guys play it as one off battles, or any sort of territory capturing campaign?
Cool flags. I hope to see them in action soon.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back. I assume Rayonian and Franonian hostilities will resume shortly.
ReplyDeleteWith immediate effect!
DeleteWelcome back. Its always cool to have your own flag.
ReplyDeleteGotta say I must go with Franonia (sorry Ray!) that cool flag has a real Germanic appeal (I'm currently painting germans for Fow and looking to do Prussians / Bavarians for VSF).

Nice one... so Franonia was founded by imigrants from the North German League? ;-)
ReplyDeleteMaybe a splinter group!
DeleteWhich way will the Winds of War Dice roll when these two determined factions meet on the field of...? Great flags!
ReplyDeleteI'm flying my freak flag in honor of this great post!
ReplyDeleteGreat work on those flags! I should design a flag for Blogonia!
ReplyDeleteSo if I read this right, you did the work, and Ray made the flags. I would like to work with you (read: you do the work, and I paint figures :-D)

Sounds good to me Peter!
DeleteSounds like a marriage proposal to me :-D
DeleteI welcome back Fran. That flag is awesome. Does any country have alphabets in their flag? Need to check. Rayonia looks cute too.
ReplyDeleteI don't think so.......
DeletePretty nifty flags there! :D
ReplyDeleteBoth flags appear sinister...I await the conflict with dread (and popcorn!).
ReplyDeleteHelped?? I remember designing them, printing them out, supplying the poles and sticking them to the poles, but I suppose you did base them up!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI give you a bone and you throw it right back after sucking all the meat of it!
DeleteOH OH!!! I see borders being drawn, rolls of barbedwire being stretched and people on motorbikes trying to jump them.
ReplyDeleteCheers
paul
Hope you had a good break Fran. Hopefully, the return to working alongside Ray is not too stressful!!
ReplyDeleteNice flags and you can use yours to shout out a big F U to all the people who attack your land..haha
ReplyDeleteWelcome back! The Franonia flag made me chuckle.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back Fran. The flags look good, although I thought I might see some ripple effects (cough, cough). Can't wait to see the mighty forces of Franonia in action.
ReplyDeleteI'm still getting my head around the ripples!
DeleteGreat to see you back Angry and the flags look great. I'm finding it hard to choose between them.
ReplyDeleteI cant wait for the post with the words to the national anthems. Great flags by the way.

The Land of the Brave and Free,
Great Flags I am amazed you can make them that small I cant wait to see the full Franonia forces
ReplyDeleteGreat flags, I like the designs.
ReplyDeletegreat looking flags
ReplyDeleteGroovy flags. Now you both need to compose suitable anthems - something with lots of tubas and cowbells, I think...
ReplyDeleteCurt
Ray's pretty good at making decent flags
ReplyDeleteWelcome back old chap; love the flags, there is something strangely familiar about Franonia's. ;-)
ReplyDeleteAwesome building as well! And yes, you've been missed.
