While wandering around the blogs this week I've come across a lot of people doing lists for Salute 2012 of what they're buying and visiting, a damn good idea and many years and shows later I decided I need to do this, there's been a lot of times where I'm standing at a stand and going "I needed something here???????"
Vallejo paints I can never think of and end up with 17 desert yellows stuck in a drawer!
Static grass that I can't remember who I bought off and now covers most of my bases, so this year I brought a sample?
Bathe!!!!, so we can't be accused and collecting a prize and meeting fellow bloggers and gamers.....
Smile more I've been told......
So here we go but I think it may have strayed from the path..........
He He He, quality.
ReplyDeleteFran, I'm worried about the bloodstains on the list. That and the "Ingredients for food on Sunday". I mean, I know you can get a lot at Salute, but come on .... finding a rack of lamb might be a bit hard! :) See you tomorrow, mate!
ReplyDeleteI have a source!
DeleteI'm writing up my list tonight, not sure how I'm going to afford it all though...
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff Fran! Look forward to meeting you tomorrow and handing over your prize! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a good list there. Now you just have to stick to it.
ReplyDeleteGreat list!
ReplyDeleteI'm writing up my list tonight, not sure how I'm going to afford it all though...
ReplyDeleteGood luck getting through that list...including the Pam Anderson thing.
ReplyDeleteThe Lurker list is out now. The only question is has he been naughty or nice!
ReplyDeleteThis will be a busy weekend, i'm curios about how many points you'll be able to tick off.
ReplyDeleteNo list for me, all I'm after is 1 pack from Peter Pig and pack or 2 from Old Glory, and a massive bit of luck on the bring & Buy!!!!
ReplyDeleteRepent Liar!!!!!!!
DeleteDon't believe a word of it Ray - we know you're going to buy a lot more than that!
DeleteA shopping list is a good idea... although mine have turned out to be a list of 4 to 6 stands that I need to visiti to collect my pre-orders. Have fun at Salute!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat is this Salute 2012?
ReplyDeleteA place to buy figures etc..... and spend all your money with other like minded people!
DeleteExcellent list mate... still putting mine together. Its a bit short at the moment.
ReplyDeleteFun list! Hope you manage to pick up everything you need and that you guys have a good time at Salute.
ReplyDeleteI know you boys are going to have a great time tomorrow. Wishing you a safe journey there and back again. Beannacht Dé leat Angry.
ReplyDelete"Beannacht De Leat" always to you Anne!
DeleteYou left out ...
ReplyDeletepick up some bread and milk.
When you wrote static grass take a sample, I had a vision of a few figures on a flocked base, I guess I failed that roll!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteNot Jealous at all, well maybe (read I could double for Kermit)
Ian
Which do you think will happen first meeting Pamela or Ray buying lunch?
ReplyDeleteMeeting Pamela has a higher chance of success!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the one about getting Ray to buy lunch.
ReplyDeleteAwesome list! lol
ReplyDeleteHere's a mantra for you to keep on top of things "Turn that frown upside down!" ... just keep saying it to yourself. Say it ten times in your head if Ray winds you up too!
Have a great day!
Go and have a bath, practice smiling, think about meeting Pam and have a bloody good time this weekend.
ReplyDeleteLists can be a life saver. I am awful for remembering what paints I need or don't need, and yet I still never make a list before I go to pick them up. Never come home with everything I need.
ReplyDeleteGreat list, Fran. I hope you have a great time at Salute.
ReplyDeleteSod the smiling mate. I laugh a lot, but don't smile much. People who smile all the time look simple!
ReplyDeleteI don't bother with lists anymore because when I remember to take them and don't lose them, I never stick to them.
However, my personal hygiene is unquestionable as long as I don't pee on my fingers . . . .
that list wouldn't be complete without Pam Anderson! I like how you included a grocery list for Sunday! Paints, varnishes, 15mm buildings, 15mm zombies, food for sunday?
ReplyDeleteHahaa cute one. My kid's shopping list also looks like this, train, train, train, train, don't let mommy enter into shoes aisle, daddy into electronics section, Mia,Tom B'day and much more.
ReplyDeleteSo darn cute, and you expect me to call you badass, may be on opposite day or in opposite world.
Damn......
DeleteDid you sign that with blood?
ReplyDeleteJust a pact requirement!
DeleteHa.. meeting Pam at a gaming convention.. didn't know barbwire had a sequel in production and required promotion :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with Salute.. hope you get what your looking for, and looking forward to the photos!
Great idea and entertaining list
ReplyDeletehope you're having a great weekend, Lurk!
ReplyDeleteLol. Have fun tomorrow Fran.
ReplyDeleteI'm not even gonna ask what that green bag is. lol.
ReplyDeleteThat is the oddest shopping list, which booth carries smiles?
ReplyDeletemeeting pamela hehehe, whats the bath thing all about ?! hey?
ReplyDeletegood list otherwise
"Lists are good, if you can remember where you put them, and then take them!" This is a quote from an old curmudgeon from Southern California.
ReplyDeleteGreat list, stick to it and smile a while for a good long mile an make sure it isn't vile.
ReplyDeletePamela Anderson is always a good goal lol
ReplyDeleteWhat are the chances that you actually stick to that list? (besides Ray paying you lunch)?
ReplyDeleteMoney talks I'm afraid.
DeleteYou've really sweated blood over that list Fran. Some of the list may be unlikely to happen (Ray buying lunch) but stranger things can happen.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day tomorrow!
A very fine list, Fran. I´m sure you are going to buy all those items... and a lot more!
ReplyDeleteBest regards and a very good day tomorrow.
Outstanding!
ReplyDeleteI have to right everything down now, or I forget. I also have a word doc that is something like 50 pages long listing all my model kits and some notes on whether I have paint and decals for them. Absurd maybe, but it does prevent buying duplicates!
ReplyDeleteVery cool cant wait to see what it looks like
ReplyDeleteHave a great day chap and maybe Pamela is there
ReplyDeletenow when your back suppy us with the list of the things you did do on the list. and no lying or else we will have plenty of sources (maybe not ray due to bias) to conferm/disprove your claims
ReplyDeleteGood list, forget pamela anderson meeting you there, she'll ask you to go to her
I am so envious - have a great time!!!!
ReplyDeleteI wonder how many of those you'll be able to tick off. It's a good list - smile more and have fun!!
ReplyDeleteI'm frakking envy... ;__;
ReplyDeletelol is that a lil baggy of weed? smoke weed erryday
ReplyDeleteDon't smile. That's contagious.
ReplyDeleteFunny and bloody!
ReplyDeleteHope its loads of fun!
ReplyDeletelol 'noble Ray'
ReplyDeletehope you had a great time.
The train track will be cool
ReplyDeleteI don't know what 'static grass' is, but if it's the smokeable kind, you want to ship some of that to Colorado?
ReplyDelete
