15mm Painted Scientists from Khurasan Miniatures.....

.....but what are they running from?

Maybe that's Sheldon on the left from my favourite comedy show The Big Bang Theory.

Set of 4 15mm fleeing scientist miniatures from Khurasan, nice sculpts, a little too much flash on one of their faces but maybe that's why he's fleeing?

Pictures could be better but as I said nice sculpts and there's not a lot of 15mm scientist figures out there!

Didn't flee well enough!

His best side!

The pretty one......

  2. Fabulous work as always - you make 15mm look larger scale with your superb painting. For some reason, that heavy set guy on the far left in the first photo makes me want to wish him harm :)! Maybe it's the pose too - but, he screams to be hassled. Best, Dean

  3. Are you sure they are fleeing, they could be running towards the free bar! Maybe ones already passed out drunk! That would seem typical scientist behavior (non Big Bang Theory) from what I have experienced. Good Work mate.

  4. It's days like this when I'm glad I'm not doing research anymore. Jesus they never paid enough for us to deal with feckin' zombies even if we did create the bastards to begin with. Did I just say that out loud? I did didn't I? Feck!!

Nicely done Fran, I wonder if the one lying down will turn

  6. Nice work, Fran.
They'll make nice victims for the zombies.

  9. @ Ray - great figs as always :)

@ Clint - that is so true about real scientists and alcohol. I should know - I was a lab technician and I still work alongside them in a support role.

Mind you, Sheldon Cooper comes nowhere near the arrogance and egotism of a lot of the Profs I know.

@ Anne - *pssst* we must have been working on the same project! Muwahahahaha

    3. Errmmm, *Eeek!* - must have been having a brainfart when I posted that Fran. From the timing of the comment, I was probably still half asleep. Muchos apologios for the unintended insult

  10. No way about the Sheldon Cooper arrogance being nothing like the real thing!

    1. Fran - SC is mature, humble, egoless and socially gracious compared to many real-life scientists. I guess the writers didn't think anyone would believe that scientists could be more extreme so toned him down :)

  11. I do wonder what they're running from. What have your scientists been working on?

  14. Nice job on those, Fran. Will there be a secret underground lab soon?

  15. Really nice set of unique figures. If that is Sheldon, he's a character I wouldn't mind seeing get ripped apart by flesh crazed zombies.

  16. It's definately Sheldon!
    Excellent work Fran!

  19. Great looking universe-manipulators on the run to take advantage of a "two for one" at the local burger shop.

  20. Great figures and paintjobs; 15mm figures too ffs, they put some of my larger figures to shame !

They couldn't possibly be fleeing from the Evil forces of Rayonia could they ?

  21. Poor dead scientist... He never stood a chance. lol.

  24. Love it. Oh Sheldon Cooper, even real nerds cant stand in the way with this guy, he is a natural, you captured him fine. The bald genius is cute too. Pretty one is good - does look like Anne :)

  26. Great stuff! They're obviously fleeing CDC following the zombie virus escaping and infecting the remainder of the research team...

  27. They have obviously heard that the last transport plane to Franonia has landed! All scientists with vitally important research data please form an orderly queue; your defection from Rayonia will be processed just as soon as an operator is available.

  28. So the war with Ray will get dirty eh? Have they read The Stand? No point running, Captain Trips gets you in the end

  29. Lovely. Great for some Pulp action. Are they perhaps Franonia's finest weapon's researchers?

  30. Good figures really well characterised. I too am recently hooked on the 'Big Bang Theory' but the Vicountessa doesn't get it (shrug of shoulders!)

  43. Very detailed, artistic work you've done with the scientists. I think the cast of The Big Bang Theory would love to see these.
