28mm Foundry Wild West Citizens arrive in Angry.
Most of these were picked up in a cheap bundle on eBay to start populating the town of Angry and for the painting challenge as well, I still have a soft spot for a good Foundry figure.........well I think they're all Foundry figures (I think Wild Bill is from Artizan)!

Bored, bored, bored!
ReplyDeleteAre you bored? Because this was a very exciting post.
DeleteYou are so wrong Ray, so wrong. These are great figures.
DeleteI really like this group Fran. So much character to these guys. Your brushwork shows up so much better at this scale, excellent work.
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne!
Deletestraight out of the movies. :D
ReplyDeleteGotta love the foundry...................yet to be persuaded re cowboys though!
ReplyDeleteInteresting bunch of characters, and I mean characters. These ain't just figures! I dare say Wild Bill is the two-fisted dude with the yeller neckercher? Mind you, that feller with the cross draw looks like a killing gentleman - Kid Curry, perhaps? Trampas? John Wesley Hardin? An' who's that double-barrel dame lookin' to clean up the town with that all purpose social cleanser, Presbyterianism? Now, where is Deputy Marshal Harry P. Flashman when you need 'im...?
ReplyDeleteOops... didn't realise the 'killing gentleman' was barefoot and in his longjohns. Tends to lose a certain ... edge, in a gunfight.
ReplyDeleteVery nice Fran. Angry has a lot more citizens than Calamity right now. I'm trying to catch up a bit though.
ReplyDeleteNicely done. That's a good start to the towns folk.
ReplyDeleteNice set there Fran.. the town of Angry is getting full quite fast.. wonder how the old watering hole will hold up to all the clientele though :)
ReplyDelete"Frantastic" looking Wild West Citizens, great, great work!
ReplyDeletePhil.
Great figs Fran! Even if they did give you a good lead on me in the Challenge.
ReplyDelete@ Ray - you're not nobbling him enough!
Greate looking minis !
ReplyDeleteBest regards Michael
Nice lot, I had a few of these.
ReplyDeleteWell Fran a nice bunch o' towns-folk. Makes me want to drop by and pick up some more chewin' tabaco and some sasperella!
ReplyDeleteAnd ignore ray he's being deliberately pravocative.
Lovely looking fig's Fran!
ReplyDeletei love them all Fran, the lady with the shotgun looks mean
ReplyDeleteWell you've now got subjects, time to start oppressing them!
ReplyDeleteCool group of figs, nicely done! Its Amway good to give some unwanted figs off eBay the life they deserve.
ReplyDeleteCheers
Paul
I like them - not boring!
ReplyDeleteWe you going to purchase figures for the brothel?
Two fingers of 'red eye' there pardner. Lovely Wild West Stuff.

ReplyDeleteAll kinds of different characters, very nicely done.
ReplyDeleteI like these a lot, when do they start dying sorry living in Angry?
ReplyDeleteIan
oh, my, I predict total riots!
ReplyDeleteNice work Fran, I quite like the bartender with the sawnoff characterful looking chap.
ReplyDeleteNice and i like the background. Me like the barman with the hogleg as well.
ReplyDeleteI loved these Fran, such wonderful characters and a great job too.
ReplyDeleteSome real characters there. The lady with the bonnet and the shotgun is my favourite - if she's typical of the womenfolk, I reckon that they are tougher than the men!
ReplyDeleteThere sure is a lot of folks in Angry.
ReplyDeleteNicely done, Generalissimo. And you have to give respect to a pretty lady toting a double barrel shotgun.
ReplyDeleteAnother fantastic group of minis. So much more detail in 28mm over 15mm. Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteWhat a collection you have there and nicely painted too.
ReplyDeleteGood work, Fran!
ReplyDeleteAs always a pleasure to watch your miniatures.
Cheers
Monty
Yeehaaa! In the immortal words of Rooster Cogburn 'fill yer hands you sonuvabitch!' - there's gunna be a gunfight! Great figures but the omission of a heavily armed hooker is a concern. ;-)
ReplyDeleteDoc
Those are great! I love the "old soldier"!
ReplyDeleteGreat work Fran and I agree Foundry still has great sculpts.
ReplyDeleteChristopher
