28mm Painted Copplestone Mounted Warlord and Bodyguard........

....and part of a larger Victorian Sci-Fi force,or to use another term "the bad guys".

As part of my ongoing Victorian sci-fi, Steampunk shenanigans these Copplestone figures are the forerunners for the rest of the army/force which will include infantry, armour and of course tunnelling machines!

The warlord has a dismounted version which will be seen with the main army.

  10. Now this is most excellent Fran. Your brushwork here is top notch-highlights are spot on and everything is clean and tidy. And the palette-sweet. I do believe you have outpainted the weasel Rousell on these horses.

  13. how sturdy are those horse legs? I'd always imagine them to be really flimsy and fragile.

    1. As long as all four legs are cast to the base then they're usually fine.

  31. Nice miniatures, well painted. If you get the chance and are interested, have a library get a copy of "White Terror, Cossack Warlords in the Trans-Siberia." Horrifying stuff, but good for an historical background and scenario ideas.
