Been a while but motivation is lacking a bit.........
I've had these for a while but you can't beat an old classic from Khurasan, these are more a military unit rather than the previous private contractor unit, I've always liked the fact they have mostly silenced weapons and flamethrowers!
They also remind me of the sardaukar from the movie Dune!
A site that is listing worthy sites and blogs under one of the headers Miniatures and Modeling, famous names are listed like Simon Miller, Loki, Anne O'Leary, Johnny Frandsen etc...... but then I saw Ray's name and was a little disappointed to be honest...........they'll let anybody in!
Great work Francis!
ReplyDeleteCheers Michal!
DeleteCracking work as always! I keep trying with 15mm but I can never really nail it. I take my hat off to you Fran you always make it look so easy.
ReplyDeleteThey're getting harder to do mate!
DeleteGreat looking reinforcements Fran, well done!
ReplyDeleteCheers old boy!
DeleteWonderful work Fran, top marks!
ReplyDeleteAppreciate that Rodger!
DeleteNice theme. Why did you no painting some of them in yellow flashy biohazard suite ?
ReplyDeleteI did the first lot in yellow!
DeleteOups, I don't remember. It may be why I think about that.
DeleteHere's a link https://theangrylurker.blogspot.ie/2012/03/15mm-painted-hazmat-team-from-khurasan.html
DeleteDune - that's what I was thinking of!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder - I got an email from SiteHoundSniffs and still need to send them my header.
Cheers Alex, yes they do!
DeleteNice work Fran. As for Ray's blog being on that site, I can understand your disappointment ;)
ReplyDeleteI know...right!
Deletewe did love Sardaukars indeed! Long live imperial house of Corrino!
ReplyDeleteFremen forever!
DeleteThey let Anne on the site? Geez, setting the bar low, huh? lmao
ReplyDeleteThey look great, ready for silent action.
Now, now...lol!
DeleteThey look marvellous Fran, hats off to those who can paint so well in such a small scale!
ReplyDeleteYou're very kind!
DeleteNo Idea what Site hound sniffs. Perhaps I had best not enquire!
ReplyDeleteThe Hazmat troops do look good. Everyone (well apart from Ray) has a use for Hazmat troops.
A different name maybe, cheers Clint!
DeleteOustanding work Francis! Love the minis and the basing. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteThanks for that!
DeleteI like the look of those guys Fran. Well done!
ReplyDeleteCheers Rod!
DeleteBrilliant, my General.
ReplyDeleteThanks my Field Marshall!
Delete"This person, this traitor, will be worth more to us than ten legions of Sardaukar!" - Great painting Fran, and a genuinely tempting post... Do they do a range which could be used as Fremen perchance?
ReplyDeleteNot really mate, not in 15mm anyway!
DeleteSniff! I've seen better....
ReplyDeleteNot on your painting table sir!
DeleteThese look great, especailly when I realised they were 15mms!
ReplyDeleteThanks Joe!
DeleteNicely done! I love the fact you chose some more unusual colours (most of the suits are either yellow or a dirty white). The colour reminds me a bit of those chemical protection working gear.
ReplyDeleteI tried to get a unit feel, last gasp mission to save the world!
DeleteDo you loan these guys out to clean 1/1 scale bathrooms? I bet they could get into all the hard to reach places!
ReplyDeleteNice work as always, Fran (and congrats to your boys for their brilliant win over a certain rugby team a couple of weeks ago...)
Cheers,
Aaron
It took us a while, we may get a hammering with the rematch!
DeleteGreat figures Fran, your basing is superb as usual as well!
ReplyDeleteCheers Sander, appreciate that!
DeleteGreat looking figures Fran
ReplyDeleteTa for that Neil!
DeleteThese look great Fran and remind me that I seriously need some hazmat troopers in my collection.
ReplyDeleteHasslefree for your scale Sir Michael!
DeleteFlamethrowers and silenced pistols seems like a strange combination to me. Flamethrowers are kinda noticeable.
ReplyDeleteReasonably silent though......
DeleteApart from the screaming when people get burnt to death.
DeleteZombies don't scream!
DeleteThese guys look great Fran!
ReplyDeleteChristopher
Cheers again Christopher!
DeleteSealed tight, I hope, if they're going after zombies.
ReplyDeleteVery well sealed but not fart proof?
DeleteWhat a month between mates Fran? Nice looking troopers mate.
ReplyDeleteCheers Paul!
DeleteVery nice, Fran!
ReplyDeleteLike the blue :)
Cheers for that!
DeleteThey appear to present some certain dread, can't put my finger on it. They look good tho :)
ReplyDeleteThanks kind sir!
DeleteThey totally look like Sardaukar troopers! (You need a few with cracked faceplates.) Great work Francis.
ReplyDeleteCheers buddy!
DeleteAwesome work! The answer is zombies. Always zombies. And hey, we're on SiteHoundSniffs too, so sorry if we stink the joint up.
ReplyDeleteNot as bad as some boys:P
DeleteFantastic. I love these. I've only ever seen these in yellow. This color selection really makes these stand out.
