A brief update from a muddy field in rural Ireland..........
Ray"The Orangutan" Rousell" reminded me that some people(maybe just one or two of you.......) were wondering what was happening blog wise?
Serious blog and life funk lately, still painting (15mm sci-fi/ Invasion Earth scenario with my modern stuff) but no wargaming or wargaming space (hopefully next year) at this time, no like minded loonies nearby either, piss poor internet, limited TV service has hit the mojo hard..........
Currently no job still apart from raising poultry, mud and really impressive weeds in our field in rural Tipperary with our mobile home.......
Hope to starting posting in the new year again, maybe even try the painting challenge next year with a build up of the lead pile.
One day we will finish our house and be less muddy but not today...........
You kind souls that read this have yourself a good new year if you can.......or want to!
Stay safe............
Great to hear from you Fran, I have missed you terribly. All the very best Michael.

DeleteWow, thought Ray ate you there for a few months. Looks like the mud beat him to it. Welcome back.
ReplyDeleteThanks Pat!
DeleteI did ask young Raymond how you were about September.
ReplyDeleteGood to know you are still alive and active.
I will try to sort out an internet game for you.
Do you Roleplay? (NO nothing KINKY... I know Ray will suggest it as being pervy if I do not put this caveat in. Easiest type to set up from my point of view.
Just leave a comment and let us know. We will sort something out.
Hope you and the good and long suffering wife are well and despite the lack of technology prospering.
All the best Clint

DeleteThink..one day, when the house is finished you can say;
ReplyDelete"one day lad all this will be yours"
"What, the curtains?"
"No, not the curtains lad, all that you can see, stretched out over the hills and Valleys of this land. That´ll be your kingdom lad.
"But Mother"
"Father"
"But Father, I don´t want any of that"
"Listen, lad. I built this kingdom up from nothing. When I started here, all there was was swamp. Other kings said I was daft to build a house on a swamp, but I built it all the same, just to show 'em. It sank into the swamp. So, I built a second one. That sank into the swamp. So I built a third one. That burned down, fell over, then sank into the swamp. But the fourth one... stayed up! And that's what you're gonna get, lad: the strongest house in these islands.”
Lol, cheers Paul!
