Some 20mm German Kriegsmarine for my Operation Sealion German forces, the figures were painted by Ray and myself and then dropped by someone and I had to sort them out, the figures are OK and come from the Kelly's Heroes range from Grubby Tanks and they will be used with the landing barges and to add a little colour to the grey.
A little late today due to Area Manager doing my head in and I will be around your blogs in a little while.
Pictures are the usual quality.
Nice - would make a good landing party from an E or U-Boat trying to destroy a telegraph station or setup a beacon for the landing barges waiting offshore!
ReplyDeleteIf they'd been Fallschirmjagers they wouldn't have minded being dropped! LOL!
ReplyDeleteNice pics as always.
ReplyDeleteVery good, looking forward to seeing these in action...
ReplyDeleteCool. Very nice work as always mate.
ReplyDeletelove the colours on them, Lurk!
ReplyDeleteThose look great
ReplyDeleteMy favorite figure is the guy with the binoc's. Looks like an officer and if I was playing as the opposition, I'd shoot him clean through the head first off. Destroy the morale of those remaining, then clean 'em out with grenades. Great job Angry
ReplyDeleteVery nice. Beng an old retired squid (Navy guy assigned with Marines) I appreciate the nice job you did on the white piping on the uniforms.
ReplyDeleteWow - they look great - nice colors on the uniforms - as mentioned fantastic details. Best, Dean
ReplyDeleteTheir little hats are so cool!! lol.
ReplyDeleteGood work, the sculptor too. How cool would it be to build a cutaway sub and play through it?
ReplyDeleteAngry, I'm here to apologize for any offense I may have given you. I've explained my misunderstanding of your location in my comment to you. I have a great deal of respect for you and for the knowledge, effort and detail that you put into your game and your blog. Respectfully yours, Anne
ReplyDeleteThey look intimidating! I'm hoping you don't have a little painted Hitler hanging around somewhere...
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff as always.
ReplyDeleteWatched "I Went Down" over the weekend. Good flick, although I'll admit, being a Yank, I didn't understand everything they said. :-)
Cool figures and nice paint jobs I always liked the look of sailors uniforms (not in that way).
ReplyDeleteIt wouldn't be that hard to do a cut away sub make it outta boxes
Anne: No offence taken at all.
ReplyDeleteLike Anne said, blast that officer with the binoculars! Nice work, as always. Your blog has been a constant 'rush' to my hobby that I never ever pursued.
ReplyDeleteAnother good addition for this project. What's next?
ReplyDeleteNice work.
ReplyDeleteGood job.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it be better if those circlish frames the figures stand on blended more with the grass though?
Very nice as always. Looking for more :)
ReplyDeleteCheers
Thomas
The officers still look the coolest to me!
ReplyDeleteLooking good as always
ReplyDeleteGood looking troops.
ReplyDeleteVery nice Army. I used to play Warhammer 40k when I was younger, so much fun to paint the troops.

ReplyDeleteThe middle one looks like he's on a mission for sure. Nice work, as always. Hope all is well on your end. Miss Wiggy is still recovering from surgery. It's been a long week. But we're half-way to having the stitches removed.
ReplyDeleteFingers and toes crossed.
Awesome figs -- well done.
ReplyDeletenice and thorough, as usual
ReplyDeleteGrand! I can also see uses in Norway WWII. The KM was involved in some small skirmishes around the port towns early on in campaign.
