We had a 15mm Late War WW2 game at Posties yesterday helping Ian (rarely seen lapsed Reject) test out his rules but his scenery was the the real joy and myself and Ray will post tomorrow pictures from the game which he lost (incredible tantrum).
The pictures at the bottom are a request from Smillie (go visit his miniatures blog) to show 28mm figures beside the 20mm church.
28mm Copplestone, Hasslefree and Heresy miniatures.
WoW these really look fantastic. Good job.
ReplyDeleteReally nice work!
ReplyDelete(I like the 28's too!)
Nick
Those Blitz figures are really good and you've done a cracking job!
ReplyDeleteGreat job indeed - they look great.
ReplyDeleteI too like late war gaming - what rules were you trying out? I'll look forward to that post in due course!
Paul: He's using Warhammer WW2 with tweaks.
ReplyDeleteVery nice work on the French, they look fantastic.
ReplyDeleteVery nice!
ReplyDeleteI want to see how the guys in front of the church could change the entire course of history in your game. They could travel back in time and throw a wrench into the whole works.
ReplyDeleteReally super and love the look of those figs with the cravats
ReplyDeleteTres Bon :-)
Ten out of ten! Cracking work.
ReplyDeleteNicely painted Francois, and foe all you oit there, I didn't lose the game, I'm afraid that honour went to Fran and Postie, they are being shot a dawn tomorrow, so he might not be posting his report!!!
ReplyDeleteA nicely painted set of figures.
ReplyDeleteThese are excellent -- I really like the little touches of individuality (like the kepi, the red scarf, the white scarf).
ReplyDeleteey, where'd the nun go? ;)
ReplyDeleteGood Paintjob, I start to think you have a feel for WW2 :D
ReplyDeleteWell done on the figures you really brought out the detail.
ReplyDeletebeautiful paintjob, Lurk!
ReplyDeleteAh, those Frenchies are very nice Angry. My early war knowledge is iffy at best, but those look just right!
ReplyDeleteThose are very nice, both the figures and the painting. There is just something about the adrian helmet...
ReplyDeleteVery nicely painted minis. Nice job on all of the details.
ReplyDeleteWell painted mate!
ReplyDeleteYou REJECTS seem to be getting more and more into WW2 ?
Such detail. How long does it take to paint all of those?
ReplyDeleteWhat's Morpheus doing outside that church? Is the fat bald guy the new chosen one?
ReplyDeleteLoving the 28mm Copplestone, Hasslefree and Heresy miniatures in front on the building.
ReplyDeleteThose little gangster looking guys look... well.. gangster! lol.
ReplyDeleteThey look just great!
ReplyDeleteChristopher
Nicely adorned troops. The subtle shading (An applied wash I presume) is very effective.
ReplyDeleteSuch great detail. I can't even paint the in-law's house plain white without screwing up. Once again envious of your skills.
ReplyDeleteBloody nice work on the 20mm french and thanks for the size comparison pictures, Its probably not everyone's taste but I think I could probably deal with using 20mm buildings with 28mm figures.
ReplyDeleteCheers
Looking good. Must be hard to get those little fingers painted
ReplyDeleteexcellent paintjob
ReplyDeleteNicely painted. Details looks great. The church would make a good chapel it seems for bigger scales
ReplyDeleteWow! Impressive detail when zooming the photos. Can you tell me the colours of the of the uniform, webbing and helmet, please?
ReplyDeletethose figures in the final/bottom picture are quite odd compared to the usual cool military ones. The fat dude with the cigar reminds me of a comic book type crime boss/villain.
ReplyDeleteWoah, so wonderfully detailed! I really like these.
ReplyDeleteMust have taken you a lot of time, it looks great
ReplyDeleteSuperb Fran, great work on those Frenchies.
ReplyDeleteI've just purchase the Dapol 20mm church for use with my 1/72nd Napoleonic figs. Your stuff looks great! Love the detail on the figures. Nice paint job.
ReplyDeleteGood looking Frenchies Fran. Hope they do well in battle for you
ReplyDeletepaintjob is amazing!
ReplyDeleteThose look pretty good, well done!
ReplyDeleteThey look great!!
ReplyDeleteAngry Vegetarian: About a couple of hours for a squad.
ReplyDeleteVery cool, I think the French was simply sneered at for surrendering, it's not like they could do anything else at the time. For the resistance!
ReplyDeleteAlso that cigar is massive.
Great looking figs! It will be nice to see all this come together.
ReplyDeleteThat could have easily been a display game on a convention! Great game, figs and terrain!
ReplyDeleteSuperb!!
