A 20mm British MG platoon for keeping the Germans off the beaches or the high street during the invasion, the 3 figure command section are from SHQ but the machine guns are from Blitz Miniatures, the table is nearly done for a game as well.....
Pictures are the usual dubious quality.....
I'm getting really getting exited about this project!
ReplyDeleteThe figures look very nice, but I wonder why you're not using static grass for the bases? Would blend much better with the table... ;)
Cheers, Mojo
Well, they look nice. About the pictures' quality: have you tried enhancing them a bit with a software?
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of glad they never were needed in the high streets, or at least I don't think they were.
ReplyDeleteOnce again, lovely work. Those HMGs look soooo much better than the old Esci plastics I'm using!
ReplyDeleteNick
Looking great as always, you must have great patience painting these things, they're really well done.
ReplyDeleteVery nice Fran! You must have an impressive army building up now?
ReplyDeleteDubious quality for the figs...not for the painting though!
ReplyDeleteVery good work Fran!!

Just the thing to stop the Boche from putting his towels on the loungers first thing in the morning and no mistake.
ReplyDeleteAs always excellent work!
I clicked on the pictures and can see the detail much better. These diorama's look good when put on the table with individual figures. Keep painting, big guy, keep painting.
ReplyDeleteSo freakin cool. I also want.
ReplyDeletebut the battlefield are to little green?
@Mojo: A decision that haunts me....
ReplyDelete@sebastosfig: I do try and then give up....
@Tonkow: You're probably right but it's like a one size/style fits all.....
Very nice and if you keep it up you might catch your arch rival Ray in points!
ReplyDeleteChristopher
They sure look ready for anyone to attack. The middle one with the handgun looks so "don't mess with me or I'll blow your dick off"..haha nice!
ReplyDeleteThey look like battle-hardened men ready for action.

ReplyDeleteNicely done! Really caught my eye since I'm working on similar at the moment with Crusader 28s.
ReplyDelete@Luckyjoe: Probably take pictures this weekend...
ReplyDelete@Ray: Don't remember, probably not.....
ReplyDeleteVery nice. I see you've been lurking around the paint table again, and your hanging-about is producing finely fitted soldiers.
ReplyDeleteNice Angry. Really well done as always. I really like the command section.
ReplyDeleteCant wait to see the table, and how you are gonna make Sealion come to life.
the little guy with the revolver looks so cool! :D
ReplyDeleteFanatstic Fran, looking forward to seeing them in situ.
ReplyDeleteVery nice Fran. Love to see vickers machine guns. The guy with the revolver is in a nice pose specially as he has a slung rifle as well.
