15mm Painted Franonian M113's, M577 and M163....

6 newish APC's bought on the black market from a guy named Avi, we have 4 M113 Zelda's, 1 M577 command APC and a M163 Vulcan repainted in Franonian grey....

......for the fictional (ish), I can say no more at this time, country of Franonia!

The models are from Peter Pig's AK47 IDF range (nice pieces of kit)......

M113's.....

A mixture of .50-cal's and M60's machine guns......

M163 and M577.....

20mm rotary cannon.......

This week we should see the leader of the rebel forces of Rayonia in the flesh.....

  8. I'm almost afraid for Ray right now. You've probably made him into some hideous creature that will beggar the imagination. It is fun watching you two boys at play Angry.

  13. I love want you have done with them. Real class

  14. Nicely done. I particularly like the 20mm canon. And for some reason I'm now thinking about Franonia University, good ol F.U. Must be the flag with the F on it.

  15. I hadn't been paying attention to those Franonia mentions, but I'm liking it - fictional countries can be a lot of fun. But we need more, maybe alternate histories, one official from you, and an unofficial from, say, Ray...

  16. What's the government of Franonia like? They certainly spend a lot on military hardware. ;)

  17. Those things are mobile fortresses! lol.

  19. is everything really always bluish, Lurk, or is it because of the camera the pics were shot with?

    1. Probably the crappy camera but the colour is slightly blue in tint....

  20. haha you will have no fear of getting de-throned in your land, with all that support.

  21. They're not rebels. They're freedom fighters!

  22. Very, very cool. Perhaps I shall one day announce the creation of the fictional modern and utopic national of Brihistan, under my own benevolent and wise leadership, of course.

What rules are you planning on using with these guys Fran?

  26. Looks like a serious force escalation to me. Franonia gets some APCs then Rayonia gets some bigger APCs, where will it all end?

  27. The Franonian armed forces are coming along nicely. Really like APC's in general

  28. Lovely stuff Fran. Do they come with the gear moulded on or are the optional? Either way I do prefer them with the clutter.

    I'm just so glad I don't do 15mm moderns

  32. Very nice, Fran. It's funny how cameras can change the hue of colors, but the vehicles still look good. It looks like you did some weathering on them as well. Looking forward to see what Rayonia will be fielding.

  33. The Rebel forces of Rayonia should rule the world, but Fran won't let them!!!!!

    1. Ray: Maybe it would help if you got some unicorn minis. Put a few sleestaks on those unicorns and you may just win.

  37. Franonia is gonna be a force to be reckoned with eh?

  38. Hmm, looks a little plain. I think it'll look better with different shades of blue.

  39. I like the blue it gives them a police look

  40. Can't wait to see the guys that will be up against these things.
