Not that there's ever a need to deploy them in the peaceful tax haven that is Franonia, but the presence of the well trained and experienced riot department is a calming influence!
Figures are from Rebel Minis and the Bulldog vehicles are from Peter Pig, I could have put more detail into them but didn't (I have no excuse!) as I believe they're intimidating enough by their plain uniform and hardware.
Impressive.. always impressed with what your doing on this project.. any chance that we will see a bat rep with them in action soon?
ReplyDeleteNow that's some nasty Rubber/Gas-Robocop-Artillery :D
ReplyDeleteI don't think they need more brush-attention. Simple and good-looking figures!
//mojo
Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteLooking good. Although i fear the open topped Bulldogs will be a magnet for Molotovs!
ReplyDeleteAgreed, some grenade screens are a must!
DeleteI wonder if there's an irony somewhere in buying riot police from a place called Rebels.
ReplyDeleteBoy you are quick!!
ReplyDeleteFran, I'm truly impressed by your speed...and your skills!
They look amazing!Pls don't tell me you painted them in a day's time. I'd weep in grief and despair!
T.
Sorry!
DeleteHmmmm, obviously the Dear Leader is worried about his population's reaction to his benevolent policies.....
ReplyDeleteMore great work Fran :)
Excellent Fran. They are rather intimidating.
ReplyDeleteThey certainly are a riot Fran. I like the fact that they have vehicle support. Great for getting you to the trouble spots and out of them if things go pear shaped.
ReplyDeleteNice one.
You know, there is something to be said for not adding all the detail - they are more intimidating I think.
ReplyDeleteA good following...Is there a police state somewhere?
ReplyDeleteGreat job, now you need an angry mob or a bunch of zombies to bash :-D
ReplyDeleteJust started painting looters!
DeleteNice work, Lurker. They are for the common good...our protection. Hail Franonia!
ReplyDeleteVery nice Lurker, they are a small army all on their own, vehicles aswell, good effort mate.
ReplyDeleteWhen will you be creating Lurkerville?
ReplyDeleteStarted painted buildings this week!
DeleteMore top quality, love the chap in the last photo with his raised baton; you just know that's going to hurt!
ReplyDeleteThey look like they could do their job. I know I'd feel safer knowing they're around!
ReplyDeleteThey told me to say that...
Keeping the peace in style! Well done.
ReplyDeleteIn the peaceful paradise of Franonia I can image these only being deployed at football matches with thier Despicable neighbour Rayonia who have many hooligans.
ReplyDeleteVery true Ray is a hooligan already!
DeleteTheir uniform does look unique. Vehicle does look like one of those you see in sciencefic movies against aliens. Franconia does look like dreamland and safe haven
ReplyDeleteVery nice. The color scheme makes them look very menacing. Great job on the vehicles, too, but I think the vehicles should have a Franonian flag or something, just to show the colors.
ReplyDeleteWill be posting the franonian and rayonian flags soon!
DeleteVery smartly painted tools of the Establishment. ;)
ReplyDeleteNo rioting in your town!
ReplyDeleteEn masse they do look intimidating, vehicles look excellent.
ReplyDeleteHow much more detail do you want/need in 15mm ? - I'm lucky to get detail anywhere close to your's with the larger 28mm figures !
Nice looking! They look like they are ready to crack some non law abiding skulls!
ReplyDeleteYou will surely crush any riot should it arise.
ReplyDeleteSmurfs.
ReplyDeleteBattle smurfs!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat!!!!!
Deleteoh, sweet Franonia! What's the capital of Franonia?
ReplyDeleteVery nice Fran, very nice!!
ReplyDeletethis project is going to be huge... when finished, can we come over and play when it's complete?
ReplyDeleteI will bring the chips.
No problem sir.
DeleteAnd I'll bring Irish potato pancakes.
DeleteSo how close is Franonia and Ray's country?
Separated by a thin strip of land!
DeleteThat's not much.
DeleteEnjoy being on holiday. See you when you get back.
Those look great. Down with the hippies! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat, now I have to behave myself in Franonia. My drunken belligerence won't be tolerated, and well, I don't want to mess with those guys.
ReplyDeleteNothing keeps the peace like an army of well trained brutes in matching uniform.
ReplyDeleteVery nice and what a striking colour of blue! They look like they mean business!
ReplyDeleteChristopher
I like them. I don't think they really any embellishment.
ReplyDeleteOops "really needed any"
Deleteawesome. at first they reminded me of the blue man group. yea i dont know. but very cool nonetheless. and newer job is electrician and afternoon job is quality control for GM.
ReplyDeleteTiny Peaceful protesters afoot? Better send the tiny riot police.
ReplyDeleteVery nice really like those peter pig vehicles
ReplyDeleteI like the shading of the blue and black!
ReplyDeleteThat looks frikkin' nice! I love the riot car...
ReplyDeleteThis will make one hell of a fine game whit miniatures like that.
The more I see 15mm, the more I want to have a go at it!!
Nice work.
I predict a riot! Good paint jobs on the figures and vehicles.
ReplyDeleteRiot cops!! Where´s my molotov?
ReplyDeleteSorry, but copyboy´s comment...Battle smurfs....IPML..:-D
Cheers
Paul
SOOOO COOOOL !!!
ReplyDeleteLet us se a real mob for them to contol ....
Will there be any mounted reinforcements for them ? Nothing is so god as a squad of mounted polices to breake up a rioting mob...
Best regards dalauppror
Look detailed enough to me. I reckon they look the part and do the job really well! They'll certainly stick it to those Rayonian rebels.
ReplyDeleteAll hail Franonia and its wonderful free and understanding government. The are great and I dont thing you need to add to them. I love them
ReplyDeleteYou do realize Rayonia have people working within your country? Trying to initialize rebellion.
ReplyDeleteThese fine gentlemen are the perfect tool for cutting these fellows down!!!
These look great, just the thing for containing any social discontent those rayonians may cause
ReplyDeleteThey look like they would be quite happy to crack some skulls just for the fun of it. I'd get out of their way.
ReplyDeleteWell done.
Cheers,
Mike
The citizens of Franonia will sleep easier knowing the Thin Blue Line is there to prevent disorder!
ReplyDeleteLovely stuff again Fran!
Franonia is really a peacefull place.
ReplyDeleteVery nice models, Fran.
looks plenty detailed to me. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteAwesome looks like an awesome team
ReplyDeleteVery necessary in the heaven that is Franonia! Or at least some snipers. These do!
ReplyDeleteattack!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't know why these appeal to me, but they do.
ReplyDeleteJust noticed that I am on your blog list. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHah, all the poses look intimidating enough to me.
ReplyDeleteI will happyily be the chief of police if I get these guys to command... great job fran. Time to put an end to Rays criminal gangs
ReplyDeleteI could use guys like these to help me with my Dino infestation. The bastards are out of control and they're breeding. You should see the size of the egg I came across yesterday, as big as a car. I went inside, grabbed my glock and fired an entire clip into the thing. Bullets just ricocheted right off the side of that thing. I either need to change the angle of trajectory of my shots or I'm gonna need bigger ordinance.
ReplyDeleteDo you think you have enough of them to stop the Rayonia hooligans? Franonian Battle Smurfs? You guys have a lot of imagination :-D LOL
ReplyDeleteVery good painted figures Fran!
Greetings
Peter

Thanks Peter!
DeleteIts good that the foreign investment flooding in to Franonia from all the tax dodgers enables it to indulge in these fripperies of state. Then again I'm sure these lads come in handy when the riff-raff fifth-columnists from Rayonia decide to cause trouble.
ReplyDelete(Those Bulldog vehicles are very cool, btw.)
Curt
Franonia is a country with a well armed police, this is out of questions!!
