The citizens of Meltown approve! (And ha! That's kind of awesome...Mel for me...and it sounds like Motown...because I live there...you are a damned genius. I am slow on the uptake...its the midnight shifts.)
their kit looks remarcably like that of the oronegrean forces (the hat). I wonder what country they really represent... as your embassy will need guards from franonia
Those well-armed guys will make it! Really nice first unit.
But... To be honest... I don't like the flag that much. In combination with the khaki shirts those brave Franonian guardsmen remember me of a despicable unit unit of beaters that spread terror within Germany's darkest years in history... :-(
Sorry for that association, Fran. I'm sure you didn't mean to create this resemblance.
Whoever came up with the idea of the citizen-soldier was a very smart man. A good way to save money and have disposable troops before sending in the professionals!
Watch out Rayonia!
ReplyDeleteVery impressive.
ReplyDeleteThose look great. Nice and simple. Any chance we can get a shot of the whole lot you have painted so far?
ReplyDeleteComing soon!
Deletedo you have a Philippines solder?
ReplyDeleteLovely jubbly Fran :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely looking good there Fran. May the forces of Rayonia tremble before you.
ReplyDeleteFranonian scum!
ReplyDeletePoor Rayolla, he's going down.
ReplyDeletelooking very good sir!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful troops, in close order drill under the National flag, General. Hail Franonia!

ReplyDeleteYour army seems to be ready. Are you in night shift?
ReplyDeleteYep, me and Ray guarding stuff!
DeleteCool. Even if Ray dozes off he has his army guarding.
DeleteThey looked like nude little tubby people until I got to see them up close. I was just like.. " what the.."
ReplyDeleteThey look like they can handle anything. :P
ReplyDeletePeace through superior fire power! People criticise the AK47, but when you have a lot of them, some are bound to hit.
ReplyDeleteNice paint job there!
Beware Ray!
ReplyDeleteFrans are coming!
Excellent work mate. The khaki went really nice on them.

I'm sure you didn't mean to create this resemblance.
But nevertheless I'm joyfully looking at Fanonia.
Cheers
Monty
Very nice mate cracking stuff.
ReplyDeleteLovely stuff. This project is great!
ReplyDeleteWhat brave and loyal subjects, what could possibly go wrong? ;)
ReplyDeleteThey look like the kind of blokes who'd make a desert and call it peace...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work!
Cheers,
Aaron
Your standard of painting just gets better. Very nice, Fran.
ReplyDeleteAll Hail the might of Franonia and be enlighten by the way they march so proudly.
ReplyDeleteGreat job chap.
That looks like one hardcore unit. Heaven help who has to go up against those grunts.
ReplyDeleteVery nice looking troops Fran. I bet Ray is worried!
ReplyDeleteYou actually have a national guard? I'm surprised your citizens love you enough. Unless joining is mandatory.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Ray's spies have seen your build up and are hurrying to respond....Great stuff Fran!
ReplyDeleteChristopher
They looking cracking Fran. Nice work.
ReplyDeletelovely earthy tones. :)
ReplyDeleteAn intimidating force. Rayonia should live in fear.
ReplyDeletethey can guard me any time!
ReplyDeleteLooking good mate.
ReplyDeleteNational Guard? May as well drop them in body bags to save time! LOL

DeleteGreat job on those, Fran.
ReplyDeleteThey all look great!
ReplyDeleteOutstanding...as always.
ReplyDeleteThey sure will get the job done or die trying.
ReplyDeleteGreat job. Rayonia has already lost the war even before it began.
ReplyDeleteThey are GREAT !
ReplyDeleteWhat you acheive in 15mm amazes me at times and this is one of those times.
ray better have some sort of secret weapon
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing. Great work!
ReplyDeleteI really like the paint job on these guys! They look fantastic!!
ReplyDeleteGood job Fran, they have a NG look about them.
ReplyDeleteI like the fact they do not wear DPM or tinpots, it touts out to the unbelievers "Look at me I am here and not scared or hiding, deal with it!"
The AK also cries out the budget in action.
Well done.
They all have such great detail, must have taken quite a long time. Great work!
ReplyDeleteA very nice army...national guard...militia...
