  2. You and me both mate, you and me both.

  3. If I could do this in Starcraft, I'd probably win A LOT more.

  4. I don't think wargames properly recreate these tactics. in real life just the fact you have been flanked can cause panic. unless you were prepared and then it can strengthen you

    1. Depends on rule set and scale of game maybe
Certainly several sets allow for off table flank marching and I can remember a game of Spearhead WW2 when my 'morale' was whacked when a full brigade of Soviet T34s appeared on flank of my Tiger Bttn :-)

  6. That is a good rule. You always protect your own flank, while trying to outflank the opponent.

  7. Very true! Attack the flank and watch your own.

  9. I think that's a good rule in life in general.

  10. You wouldn't want to upset those duck hunters! ;)

  11. Nice one.... my tactics tend to favour "Half the battle is thinking... the other half is lots of loud bangs and death".

  12. I am not going to pretend that I understood.

  13. I think that is more like Gunfight Rule #1!

  16. When flanking is failing, sometimes you gotta just run straight at them.

  17. Flank? Whats a flank.....oh thats a flank!

  18. General, you are in a company of many great War Masters who have entered the battlefield with the mind dripping with visions of superb tactical victories...to only find themselves humbled by the finicky mathematics of the dreaded Dice Roll Factor. Hail, Franonia!

  21. Sounds like good advice, but I guess it doesn't translate to the table top!

  22. Nice rule, it only remains to apply...

  23. I like the advice and find it sound, for the most part. In any case, great pic, dude.

  24. Awesome photo. In theory, flanking in great but in my experience it is difficult to get enough folks organized in a multi-player game online to execute it properly.

  32. I was going to say "Inspiring" but being the 41st person to comment, I've been beaten to it!

  33. LOL!

I always protect my flanks. If my oppponents flanks are too strong, I just go and smash his center! Linear tactics are sooooo overvalued!

  34. Ray says you're a bush hugger Angry. When will he ever learn that he can't beat you?
