15mm Khurasan NSF DOE Gunships, painted and made by Battleaxe Painting Service.

Khurasan Miniatures released these bad boys last year and there was a little issue with the making of them (ie you needed a small amount of skill, I haven't, just the patience and skill of a meth addict), so I thought I'd get the boys at Battleaxe (Postie and Ray) to do them through their new painting business.........

.................now some people might say it's a pity commission (I think BigLee did?) but I'm not that nice, I hate to say it but they did a brilliant, excellent, great, good job (that was difficult) and I'm happy with the outcome.

  3. I just placed an order with Khurasan and they were on my list. I had to pull them because I bought too many other things. I will have to get them on my next order. They look great.

  4. I think they look damn good. Almost enough new and shiny to make me break the new year's resolution.

  5. Can we please see them next to a fig, or a coin, or a finger, to get a sense of how they scale?

  9. why do I get the impression someone tried to make a Hind and then completely messed up and then decided they would make great sci-fi gunships.

please tell me I am not the only one who sees a hind when I look at these. oh and yes the boys did a good job.

  16. Nice Models and very nice paint job. I feel congrats to all three of you.

Just as a thought are you going to keep commissioning Ray to paint fantasy/sci fi to both anoy him and also hinder his progress in the Analogue Painting Challenge? Very devious of you. Well done.
