Cavalier 2013 Pictures, Bring and Buy Problems, Where's Postie and Chocolate!

The Rejects went to Cavalier 2013 on Sunday (7 Rejects!!!!!) on our regular yearly jaunt, for me it was to stock up on those items that are a necessary evil (paints, brushes and spray) but also picked up some Victorian models from Ironclad Miniatures and a few MDF wagons and privies from 4Ground, it was a good day but marred by the theft of some models from  the Bring and Buy belonging to Ray! While waiting with Vinnie for Ray and Postie to turn up at the bring and buy to collect their stuff I noticed a little scene where several of the Tunbridge Wells members searching for a persons items but coming up empty and thinking that's fecking harsh and then Ray turns up to the same bullshit (I must admit the guy's attitude who dealt with Ray was a little off), I now hear that this is a regular occurrence at bring and buys and appears to be the main reason bring and buys have suffered over the last few years, I've only put something on a bring and buy one (Salute) and had no problems!

Met up with a lot of fellow bloggers and the Rejects had their picture taken a few times!

A sad and angry end to the day which was further marred by no McDonalds as Ray and Postie were too annoyed to eat!!!!!! Luckily Clint had arrived with some of his excellent chocolate and after some generous sharing during the show on my part we still had something to fill the bring and buy void and a cup of tea this morning at work.

Some pictures from the show (still couldn't find my camera so borrowed one), didn't take a lot as there were quite a few games from previous shows and just plain forgetting to take more didn't help!

Feeling a bit Irish today, the Rejects at Cavalier 2013, security at work and more Boobs!

Meant to take pictures today of some 15mm office chairs from Shapeways but left my camera at home and so did Ray but a good few Rejects will travel to Tonbridge tomorrow for Cavalier 2013 and will hopefully have pictures for you on Monday of the show (if I remember the fecking camera), so if you see a very large individual with strawberry blonde hair (with a lot of grey) and a face like a bulldog licking urine off a nettle wandering aimlessly come up and say hello!

Ray not only left his camera at home but his brains, Ray in one of those rare occasions (even rarer he paid) went to get some burger and bacon rolls with fried onions when the boss called asking to speak to him and I said that he was on patrol and would be back in 10mins and I would get him to ring her back.....

Lurker: The boss rang, I told her you were down the snack wagon!
Ray: You're a bollox!
Lurker: Yes I am!
Ray(on phone): Hello dear, I was on patrol.....
Boss: You were out buying bacon sandwiches....
Ray: I was not, I was on patrol....
Boss: Francis told me you were....
Ray: Okay I was....
Lurker (shouting): Unbelievable, you're an idiot Ray I told her nothing of the sort....
Boss: Ha Ha!

Women are sneaky........

Well maybe one day............

....and because some people asked!

15mm ARC Fleet Combat Scout Walkers from Critical Mass Games.

Still painting some sci-fi related pieces while painting historical for the painting challenge, these are scout walkers from Critical Mass Games and are forming the basis of my Neo-European forces but Europe being Europe most of the forces are contracted and this unit will be something similar to "Hammers Slammers" deal where you are paid to fight other peoples conflicts but run by New Brussels.

Nice pieces of kit but were a bit of a fecking pain to put together, 15mm GZG figure to give an idea of scale........

Lots of other stuff painted to add to the force........
