15mm AR:SE Zombie Tanks, Blog-Con, COD:Ghosts and one of the best can openers ever!

Currently feeling like hammered faeces but on my 4th visit to the doctor (like most men I rarely visit a doctor intentionally) and prescribed something with a bit of a kick and told I may have something that I have now forgotten but had a lot of latin in the title I'm feeling a bit better and actually back sleeping, I was worried I wouldn't make blog-con this weekend with the blog whore Ray but hopefully that's not a problem now apart from the medication saying I may feel drowsy (no faeces sherlock) and no fecking alcohol!

One of my favourite rules ever are AKULA's AR:SE zombie rules (2 page genius rules), there are in the rules zombies called tanks "In rare cases, the zombie virus mutates the corpse, into a stronger, more aggressive zombie", they are also hard as feck to kill! In 28mm I found some unique figures to represent tanks but in 15mm I couldn't find anything I liked but I saw some plastic nurglings on ebay and a little bodging later I ended up with these guys to represent the tanks...........

15mm eureka mini to show scale, would have liked the tanks to be bigger but they'll work fine.........

Blog-Con this Saturday folks.........

This arrived yesterday as an early Christmas present from the family.........

What a great can opener.......

.....and I'm now off to load my PS3 game and save the world and piss off all those online gamers!

  2. 3 figures that look just like their owner! What a find! I hope you're not thinking of dressing like that at Blog-Con this weekend? And NO fecking alcohol??? Tablets are for wimps!

  6. Lots of stuff going on in this post. First, and most important, I hope you get better soon. It sounds like you've been battling this for a while. Is it wrong to say I think your minis are cute? Lucky you, getting COD. I may get it for my son for Christmas if he doesn't get it first.

  7. I hope you begin to feel well soon. 4 times to the Docs that's about 12 years worth in my book. The figures look great. You have a keen eye at spotting alternative figure uses. I would not have thought of nurglings, excellent choice.

    2. Yeah there are lots of sick people at the docs, you never know what you might catch!

As for the can opener, I have to wonder about Stretch marks.

If I don't reply again have a great time on the weekend. And don't be shy with the camera. But please no picks of Ray.... unless it's really embarrassing!

  11. Hope you get feeling better, Fran! Great nurgling- now zombie models too. I didn't see any can opener, a lovely lass kept distracting me! ;)

  12. Yeah. I hope you get better, too! nicely painted miniatures. With those poses they could be used as some kind of circus performer!

And of course you became a "Ghost", though I don't like the outcome of those new CoD and Battlefield games. Can someone imagine playing the Original CoD oder Ghost Recon? In my opinion much better than most games are today.

Oh, I see you posted Jordan Carver. Well, though she is native German I don't like her. She is not even pretty. And her chest is way too "artificial", if you know what I mean ;-D

    Take care

  20. Enjoy blog con, and hopefully it will help you get over the bug you have. Your missus looks like a bit of alright there, better than the tank zombies. Don't know where you find these things but you must have one of the most unique range of miniatures around.

  29. So twisted! If a zombie pointed its bare ass at me like that, I'd be more horrified than seeing it eat someone. Speaking of eating, I need to eat something out of a can. Where the hell is my can opener and why doesn't it look quite that nice!

  30. Nice job on the "tanks." They are going to look great in a game. Feel better for Blog-Con.

I'm still not in the mood to come back yet. Life is still a shit sandwich and I can't cope with having contact with people, however brief it may be.
