The T-55 is from Peter Pig and is part of my modern North Korean forces and was one of my submissions for Curt's painting challenge, it's had a few bits added to the base since then, I do have other stuff painted but little time for pictures or finding it!
Loki is giving away painted figures and the chance to get figures painted as well, go over here to find out how to enter............
....one of the lovely buggers below!
What are you waiting for.........go!!!!!
Nice work on the tank and the base.
ReplyDeleteLoki's character is really cool.
He's a damn good painter!
DeleteAgain....Great work mate! Nice detail and crisp painting.
ReplyDeleteThanks Johnny!
DeleteLovely tank Fran and cracking give away!
ReplyDeleteThanks Paul and a damn good one!
DeleteNice one Fran, love the basing btw!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks old boy!
DeleteNice tank Fran.
ReplyDeleteNorth Koreans minis? Now I've seen it all! Where's mini Kim Jong Un? Or, I guess as mini as someone like him could be...
ReplyDelete(Oh, and the tank looks great!)
Thanks boys, I'd love a 15mm little dictator!
DeleteYou already have one and its name is Ray.
DeleteNice one Anne!
DeleteThat's one nice looking tank, but I still hope I don't see anything like it driving down the street.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope but somebody will!
DeleteNice work on th tank Fran :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Tamsin.
DeleteReally like the improvements you have made to the tank
ReplyDeleteIan
Thanks Ian.
DeleteLove both. The tank and the figurine. Nice work Fran.
ReplyDeleteNice job on the wrecked tank. Excellent piece of work.
ReplyDeleteNice one Chris.
DeleteGreat tank, Fran; I've got one too, but done up as an Iraqi tank hulk ;)
ReplyDeleteThey're really excellent pieces of kit!
Deletespeaking of tanks, that Brad Pitt movie FURY that I mentioned yesterday will have a real German tank from WWII in some of the scenes... they borrowed it from the museum
ReplyDeleteNow that is very cool!
DeleteHail my General! A masterful job on the dead T-55 and crew. Hail Franonia!!
ReplyDeleteHail Franonia!
DeleteAwesome job on the tank and that guy sure looks menacing
ReplyDeleteThanks Pat.
DeleteTanks for the pictures Fran - my pathetic attempt at model-making humour!
ReplyDeleteNot bad girl!
DeleteExcellent improvements on htis tank, the base is really great...
ReplyDeleteThanks Phil.
DeleteI do like the Peter pig wrecks. They are so characterful. They make great objective markers.Very well done on that.
ReplyDeleteThanks Clint!
DeleteGreat work Fran!
ReplyDeleteIan so envious since no NK are available in 28mm!
Not a great deal in 15mm either but at least something.
DeleteThat's a cracking bit of work Francis, love the additions to the base as well - great job.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot Michael.
DeleteVery very nice work there Fran!
ReplyDeleteThanks Rodger.
DeleteNice work on the T-55 there buddy!

ReplyDeleteThanks Juan!
DeleteNot a problem and thanks mate!
ReplyDeleteoooo those look great, and I love the goblin thing at the end!
ReplyDeleteA Troll but close enough and thanks!
DeleteNice work Fran
ReplyDeleteThanks Jason.
DeleteVery cool tank! It must take forever to get those miniatures painted the way you want them - and a lot of patience :)
ReplyDeleteIt does but patience is a virtue of which I have very little these days.
DeleteThat is a nice bit of color to your large NK armor collection. When you get them out on the table, hopefully you won't need a lot of "destroyed" markers.
ReplyDeleteWell they are North Korean!
DeleteHey, I got your comment. No Big Bird Farts, thank you. I've got two dogs and Tim, that's about all the farts one person can take.
ReplyDeleteThe tank looks nice Fran and the basing is top notch. I'm too busy to take pics right now or to post either. I may be back next week or the week after that.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week!
Stay safe cailin!
DeleteJesus Christ, I've spent so many hours working in the gardens doing heavy work that I've lost a good ten pounds. I can't keep my fecking jeans from falling down. The other day whilst mowing, the damn things fell down to my knees. Gave the neighbors quite a show as I don't wear undies :)
DeleteI knew you went commando cailin.
DeleteGreat looking knocked out tank Fran!
ReplyDeleteChristopher
Thanks for that Christopher!
DeleteThat is one good looking tank. I like the shrubbery around it for effect!
ReplyDeleteThanks Marcy.
DeleteTank looks great Fran! Basing superb.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mike.
DeleteI like the tank too ! so much details on so small model !
ReplyDeletegreat work !
Thanks for that Sam.
DeleteI've seen a lot worse, but few, if any, better. Great looking model AL, the basing is top-notch.
ReplyDeleteThanks Joe, much appreciated.
DeleteNicely done Fran. I am still giggling about describing them as modern. The West German tankers in the 80's described them as 'Lunch'.
ReplyDeleteGood skills mate.
I know mate but they still have thousands of them!
DeleteGreat work on the tank, Fran. That'll look excellent on the tabletop. "Lunch" indeed!
ReplyDeleteI had never heard the term myself!
DeleteFran, because of posts such as this I went broke placing an order from Peter Pig for WWII figures.....:)
ReplyDeleteSorry mate!
DeleteI didn't even know North Korea had tanks. Well functioning ones.
ReplyDeleteWell, are you sure it's not actually made of wood and ducttape? I know they paraded missiles around made of similar materials.
They have 2000 of these alone!
DeleteLooks rather tidy. What rules will you use it with?
ReplyDeleteFMB
Fubar Ultra I hope!
ReplyDeleteIt's time for you to do a new post!
ReplyDeleteDammit!
