I have been painting but the picture taking and quality has been a little suspect, there's a game this weekend with the Rejects (I have missed about 5 or 6 on the trot due to work), have a good one folks!
Justin over at The Royalist Roundhead is having a giveaway to celebrate 50,000 hits, you get nothing for pimping it but that's not the point is it?
Very nicely my good Sir. Good objective counter or just scenery.
ReplyDeleteThanks Johnny.
DeleteThe only day I can't make this weekend is the Sunday. So I will have to miss this game as well. Huey Looks good. I have a hankering for some Vietnam conflict games just looking at it. Was Ray piloting it!!?
ReplyDeleteLanded on top of him!
DeleteWell done sir...but I would not have liked to be inside!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Phil.
...or underneath it!
DeleteNice terrain piece. Well done.
ReplyDeleteCheers
Stefan
Thanks mate and for the figures.
DeleteVery nice model and basing. Been missing the reports from the Rejects, even the biased ones from Ray ;)
ReplyDeleteHe's such a fecking liar!
DeleteFeck you Oirish!
DeleteUp yours Frenchie!
DeleteHey, nice one, Fran. Of course, I'd hate to have been on that when it went down! I also appreciate the plug! Are you and Ray actually playing any battles with all this kit, yet?
ReplyDeleteNot yet, his new job is killing him:D
DeleteThat's a lovely piece of battlefield scenery, Fran. It wouldn't look out of place on a post-apocalypse board.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that Bryan.
DeleteSorry you missed so many games.
ReplyDeleteI'll get over it, I've been told I'm a big boy!
DeleteOhhhh, who said that? Games are for big boys, too.
DeleteThat's a great bit of scenery for the battlefield.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that!
DeleteGreat stuff, both as terrain or objective-marker. If I would have to gripe I'd say you could add some burn marks, but that's just me being pedantic :-)
ReplyDeleteGood idea though.
DeleteGreat looking display - I wouldn't have thought 15mm until you mentioned it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dean.
DeleteAwesome job, you no you've been gone long when 10 post a year Anne gets after you lol
ReplyDeletechopper down... nice detail. hope all is SWELL!
ReplyDeleteWe can only try Jeremy!
DeleteNice job! That one is really cool.
ReplyDeleteNice paintjob there Fran and I hope you have a great game this weekend
ReplyDeleteThanks Pete.
DeleteI dig it. It feels off that there's no flame in the background or something
ReplyDeleteIt does need some smoke!
DeleteVery nice vignette, General.
ReplyDeleteWell said Field Marshall.
DeleteNice piece of scenery, or a cracking objective dude.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely Bob!
DeleteNicely done Fran :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Tamsin!
DeleteHola
ReplyDeleteQue escena mas buena me gusta
un saludo
Thanks JD!
DeleteIt looks great Fran! I understand about the picture taking and blog posting sometimes you have the energy to paint, but all the fiddly picture taking and talking about it just needs to wait sometimes.
ReplyDeleteChristopher
It sometimes turns out to be a chore!
DeleteWell done Francis , very nice vignette .
ReplyDeleteCheers .
Thanks Vincent!
DeleteNicely done mate. Have fun the weekend and enjoy. I hope Ray is there and you thrash his pants off him!
ReplyDeleteIf not he's getting a kick in the crackers!
DeleteExcellent job on the chopper. It'll make a great piece of scenery.
ReplyDeleteThanks Chris.
DeleteVery nice, stuff like this adds a lot to a game table!
ReplyDeleteI'm a scenery junkie!
DeleteThat is blooming brilliant!
ReplyDeleteNice one dirtbag....you're managing to post as often as me I see???
ReplyDeleteOn the run posting we'll call it!
DeleteThe Battlefront Huey - only marginally more expensive than the real thing . . .
ReplyDeleteSorry - nice work though ;O)
They do like a profit!
DeleteNice work Fran!
ReplyDeleteThanks Scott!
DeleteYou got a Huey down!...saw the headline in my updates and assumed it would be something with boobies, but you actually have a Huey down...man - I'd love to help an'all, but, ya'know...it's a huey, there's a bit, well, I mean..I'm just one man...you need a crane dude!
ReplyDeleteI have a big crane!
DeletePhew!
DeleteHow big is it?
DeleteErect or semi-erect?
DeleteI'm guessing 8 to 10 inches erect. I'm right aren't I?
DeleteThat's a good guess!
DeleteAnnzie, leave poor Fran alone :))
DeleteAnd people thought I called you the Big Irishman because you're tall. Silly billies.
DeletePffft, I'll never leave him alone. He's stuck with me.
Thanks Dez but she's an Irish cailin and what can we do?
DeleteGreat bit of color, Fran!
ReplyDelete"Men, I guess we're going to have to walk out of here."
Nice one Monty!
DeleteGreat objective piece there Fran nice realistic detail with the blue tarps of the back windows.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that Robert.
DeleteHail Franonia! I hope you get more time to yourself soon Fran.
ReplyDeleteI hope so too!
DeleteGreat looking gamer objective.
ReplyDeletecheers
I agree with Anne OLeary. Bout damn time! I've come to count on my Angry blog fix! Cool chopper - makes a good objective
ReplyDeleteThanks for that!
DeleteNice looking chopper Fran and perfect for attacking the idiots/citizens of Raynonia.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting ya Big Irishman!
Not a problem cailin.
DeleteI like! Great comeback post Fran.
ReplyDeleteModel and paint on!
Nice one Paul.

ReplyDeleteWell said old git!

ReplyDeleteThanks Rodger!
DeleteThanks old boy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that kind sir!
ReplyDeleteGreat looking piece which has multiple uses across many periods.
ReplyDeleteThanks and you're right Joe.
DeleteVery nice, Fran. Really interesting element to put it on the table!
ReplyDeleteThanks Juan.
DeleteIt looks like the crash was survivable at least.
ReplyDeleteNot for Ray!
DeleteI love the downed Huey, very nice. Perhaps it's because of reading too many Heavy Metal mags when I was young, but a downed Huey in the jungle always makes me think of zombie American skeletons covered in vines. Is that weird?
ReplyDeleteNo, not at all in fact!
DeleteNice work Fran!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jonas!
DeleteVery clean work on that Huey. My father, who was a doorgunner and mechanic in 'nam would be impressed.
ReplyDeleteThat's very cool mate!
DeleteWhat rules will you use Francis?
ReplyDeleteFMB
Fubar or Fubar Ultra but would like a modern bolt action or chain of command.
ReplyDeleteNice Huey Fran was pictures taken with your new camera?
ReplyDeleteNo mate, taken a little while back.
DeleteThat's a cool piece Fran. Now have some fun with it
ReplyDeleteLove the grass and the branches on the base. Poor Huey!
ReplyDeleteThanks boys!
DeleteLooking good, Fran. I saw a huey leaving the air strip over the weekend. Thankfully, it took off safely. Such a cool sight to see. Hope you had a fun time gaming.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that Elsie!
DeleteGreat piece of scenery you made there!
ReplyDeleteGreetings
Peter
Thanks for that Peter.
