The infantry for the mercenary unit, they are mostly GZG (NAC) which in fairness are a little dated but they come with casualties, vehicle riders and gunners!
These were my latest entry to the painting challenge and has helped close the gap a little between myself and Ray........
There will be a few additions to the unit possibly another vehicle and some drones.......
The last picture proves that figures from one company do not necessarily fit with another company's vehicles, these guys are too tall, the vehicles required kneeling gunners......
.........what can you do?
A game of X-Wing at Daniels house on his kitchen table with his game, it's been a long time since I played this but the Empire (me) pulled off a lucky (tactical genius) victory........
......it was good to roll a few dice again!
nice
ReplyDeleteThanks Daver!
Deletepoor little casualties :((
ReplyDeleteThey had it coming Dez!
DeleteGreat collection of 15 minis sic-if, Fran, and good to see you rolling some dice on the tabletop too. I love the basing you’ve used too with the red foliage - nice contrast ;-)
ReplyDeleteCheers for that, I do like to add colours to the bases!
DeleteGreat looking GZG force! Why so many casualties? Are you such a bad gamer? ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's what you get in the packs, I needed the points and yes!
DeleteGeez, some of them sure went down rather quickly.
ReplyDeleteQuicker than $10 women of negotiable virtue!
DeleteWow, that's a large force!
ReplyDeleteLook out Ray, Fran is coming for you...
You said it brother!
DeleteGreat looking force Fran, gotta love those NAC figures!
ReplyDeleteThey have everything......nearly
DeleteLooking great Fran! Glad to see you've found a gaming buddy too.......finally!
ReplyDeleteI know and he's quite pleasant unlike you!
DeleteVery nice!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks Hein!
DeleteEverything under the sun and then some, quite a force to be reckoned with.
ReplyDeleteWell done gettting a game in too.
Thank you Joe!
Delete2 Tie defenders and a Tie I are a very forgiving empire force!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is a lot of 15mm sci-fi figures! I feel embarrassed how few things I am painting at the moment! - thanks for showing what can be done with a bit of discipline!!!
I´ll second that...and also, I´ve also painted very little for ages :-( Bad Fran making me look lazy :-)
DeleteCheers boys from bad Fran, really I'm just trying to beat Ray in the painting challenge!
DeleteExcellent looking figures
ReplyDeleteMany thanks as always Neil!
DeleteIts always great to throw dice again dude and X-wing is a fun game! Great force and those casualties are terrific
ReplyDeleteIt was good to interact with a fellow wargamer after such a long time!
DeleteWonderful work Fran on some 15mm Sci-Fi goodness!
ReplyDeleteChristopher
Good man Christopher!
DeleteI like those casualties. Did you make them or they can be bought as shown?
ReplyDeleteI wish I could paint as fast as you
Bought my friend, 9 to a pack I think!
DeleteMy word Fran, that's quite a force!
ReplyDeleteWhy thank you again Michael!
DeleteSalute, my General! Invasion seems imminent. The number, and quality of your troops is amazing. Hail Franonia!
ReplyDeleteHail Franonia!
DeleteBuilding up nicely there. They may be getting on a bit as these things go, but I do rather like those NAC troops.
ReplyDeleteThey do have a certain charm!
DeleteAwesome work sir!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks Michal!
DeleteI say quite a force you have there. More than sufficient to beat the Royonian's I would think.
ReplyDeleteYou're damn right!
DeleteAwesome work as usual!
ReplyDeleteCheers to you sir!
DeleteAwesome work as usual!
ReplyDelete........and cheers to you again sir!
DeleteWoweewow! You certainly didn't hold back on this entry, Fran. Quite an impressive array of fine brushwork.
ReplyDeleteCheers Dean!
DeleteGreat looking unit Fran. I’ve always resisted the temptation to get in to 15mm Sci Fi (although I do have Stargrunt and Horizon Wars rule sets) but seeing the way these figures have turned out resistance may be futile....
ReplyDeleteResistance is indeed futile my friend!
DeleteGood work, whew.
ReplyDeleteCheers kind sir!
DeleteLooks like fun! I played 7 Days to Die with my brother. That was fun, too :)
ReplyDeleteA good one from Steam!
DeleteThese look great, Fran!
ReplyDeleteThe problems with scaling in 15mm are indeed troublesome at times and very hard to avoid when ordering online. They make some excellent casualties though.
ReplyDeleteExcellent looking force you got there.
