The 15mm Legion of Ood bringing peace......

.....to the galaxy or knocking the faeces out of you if you don't want their peace!

This unit was part of a recent entry to the ongoing painting challenge over at Curt's place, the legion preaches from the book of Ood and brings the word to the other book readers of the galaxy.....

Many scales and ranges used including 15mm, 20mm and 28mm especially the GW dreadnoughts as heavy mechs and a 20mm kloth from CP Models as religious advisor......

This lot puts me slightly ahead of Ray in the challenge, just a few weeks to go.....

Cheers Bill Bailey.......

  2. Good to mix up scales in sci fi. Afterall who knows how big a dreadnought for your army is! Or a tank on pretty much anything!

  6. The beauty of these smaller scales, being able to add stuff from much larger scale miniatures games without them looking out of place.
Great way to get ahead :).

  7. I like the mix of scales and you are churning out the figures at a rapid clip. Does Ray have a chance?

  8. I like painting figures a lot and quantity has a quality all of its own. Still it's not as good as sticking it to one of my mates either

    2. I was definitely expecting these to be the alternative armies not-Ood figures. Which are good, but definitely different from these.

      Nice job Francis!

  15. The advantage of fantasy is to mix scales. Looks like it can do the business on the table.

  20. It’s neck and neck between you and Ray but whatever the result you are going to have a cracking amount of fab painted figures at the end of it!!!

  21. I like the idea of mixing and matching 'scales' in Sci-fi forces and the whole of this vast force blends together seamlessly imho.
