20mm Painted WW2 British Infantry Platoon.

British infantry platoon painted up for the What If? Operation Sealion gaming, figures are mostly SHQ (which were awful sculpts, so much flash and distortion........ ) and some Blitz Miniatures (good stuff)...

....picture quality is the usual poor quality but I think it's for the best as these are not Ray's best work!

  10. They look nicely done to me! Crappy sculpts can really drag you down when you are trying to do good work.

  13. Cracking figs Angry L,
I think these figures from SHQ are now out of production? well they were a few years back when we tried to buy more. Was a shame as I had loads of fun painting my own. As you said with my naps "I live my 20mm WW2 obsession through your painting!!!".
    Cheers

  20. This is what playing with those green plastic army men lead to. I used to set up hundreds and knock them down with rubber bands. Ah ... good times.

  40. Always good to see a post from you.

I'm enjoying three days off from prep. Made onions soup tonight with bagel croutons and smoked melted cheese.

    Wasn't too bad at that.

Hope you have a great weekend.
