Shenanigans, painting and solo wargaming from Ireland.
They are nice figures from the Plastic Model Company and you have done them justice.
Haha, those were taken at work because I can tell that's not the table you use at home! Caught you out Angry. But Ray cheats by painting at work and these netted you points, so I won't tell anyone. Those are so tiny, I don't know how you guys do it. There's another comment after this one. Pay attention to it!
I've finished the comic I made for you and Ray. It's posted in my Flickr account under Clash Of The Titans. Just click on "Slideshow" and the cartoon will play for you. Here's the link http://www.flickr.com/photos/privateanne/sets/72157628922681375/Let me know what the two of you think. I hope you guys like it.
Excellent work, old chap. That should give the tally a bit of a boost.
Excellent work Anne, but my Mrs has blonde hair!!! Can't wait for part two! Is this going up on your blog??
No, I just did this as a gift for the two of you. I didn't know your wife's hair colour or Angry's girlfriends haircolour so I matched the hair to the men's. I'm not going to redo her blonde for you either Ray! Hey, I can't get to your post yesterday, it says "Page Does Not Exist"
Oh yeh, nice work Fran!!
Great Job Angry!
Absolutely brilliant Anne and so true......
Some good work here Fran, good to see you have been getting some painting in after all the busy times at work lately.Nice slideshow as well. It may very well forecast a win by Ray!
Looking great, as always!
Great stuff mate!
Much as I like your painted figures, Fran, I have to say that Anne surpassed you this time with her sublime slideshow. Take a bow, Anne!
Great job on those. Very crisp detail. The straps across the chests really stand out and are nice and distinct. I wish I could paint so cleanly.
Good stuff! Do you create the platforms as well?
They can be made or bought....
Nicely done Fran. There a nice variation of poses for Plastic figures
From far away it looks like the bottom of a cleat.
Nice platoon, keep it up!
Go Soviets, go Soviets!
Very nice - you can never have too many Russians!
i like the how you should the camera work in the last post... now i can see how it's all put together. i may come talk with you about camera techniques.
LOL Anne didn't give it away or anything did she?..hahaThe Russians sure are coming, it's Red Dawn, nice job!
It sounded like it was Ray giving himself away, when he had good cover and concealment. At least he didn't shine a flashlight into an ambush like the Nemesis did though.
Great work !I like the look that you gave them.:-)CheersMonty
Man those look nice! Last picture, second row from the back, 4th from the left - my favorite.
lol cant help but think that these photos were taken while u were at work.
Very nice looking unit
Very nice models, Fran. You have now a lot of them. The "Russian" colours are great.
Good stuff. It's hard to beat the variety of poses in a box of plastics. Do you take any extra precautions to protect the paint when painting plastics?Good comic, Anne. I may be old, but I still remember the "girlfriend" days.
Washing the plastic but other than that nothing special....
Very nice point grab!Christopher
Nice work again! I love the variety of poses here.
Nicely done! (And I would like to say that if or if you did not take the pictures at work, you were at least being productive.)
These look great! Very well painted!
Another great looking bunch. Nice work.
Wow, these figurines are awesome! I collect American Civil War ones myself. Cool blog:)
What a nice work.
Excelent looking figures. Can't wait to see more

Those guys did you good there.
i've always wanted to dabble in 20mm but won't since i've invested in 15mm and 28mm. great job! you make me wanna start...
Very nice troops, Sir.
Wow very good looking!
They look great Fran!Carry on!
Nice, some of the best plastic figures you can get
you must have the patience of a saint
I also like them. Urraahh!
Takes a lot of practice. I suck when it comes to painting.
Cute and awesome as usual.
i like the new header, francis :)
Information suggesting that Fran is not goofing around, while at work, are yet to be confirmed!! :-)Fantastic work mate!T.
Very sweet Angry.....the comrades look like they were painted very well, and the colour choices are right aswell, good effort.
Great work Fran!
