Inspired by one of Cage's better movies........figures from Peter Pig and Ural 4.5 ton truck also.
"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.... Time to die."

What's better than one 15mm arms dealer but two 15mm arms dealers.....
....especially for a very frugal with the finances Dictator!

Franonian defence budget cuts owing to the Global Finacial Crisis and governmental austerity measures perhaps? Nice photos.
ReplyDeleteNice little set of figs Fran. Esp like the guy holding up his hat in the 3rd pic
ReplyDeleteNice work. Especially for those tiny 15mm men...
ReplyDeleteCheers
Monty
well, almost everyone is on a tight budget now...well done!
ReplyDeleteNice there Fran!
ReplyDeleteT.
I like the hat man too. Is he carrying a brief case?
ReplyDeleteFor the cash payments or precious stones....
DeleteNice work Angry.
ReplyDeleteThese look great, Fran. A nice addition to your army.
ReplyDeleteVery nice figures there Fran. The truck looks pretty cool too.
ReplyDeleteNice work. First thing I thought of was that same movie.
ReplyDeleteNice work. Good paint job on all.
ReplyDelete"Get for me the gun of Rambo" lol
ReplyDeleteOkay Franonnia now needs a rival state... unless of course it's just going to fight itself...
Great as usual. The only thing that struck me was the darker skin version, the one with the red shoes, looked like a zombie to me. And of course the mortal foes of Franonia are the fanatics of Rayistan.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking Rayonia but Rayistan is good....
DeleteLong live the revolution!!!
DeleteCool stuff there, Fran
ReplyDeleteWho would be the guy holding up the hat?
ReplyDeleteGreat job.
ReplyDeleteThree might be better but if you're going to be frugal you might have to stick with two.
ReplyDeleteThose are cool. I don't think they call themselves "arms dealers" anymore. The PC term is "civil harmony facilitators". :)
ReplyDeleteI bloody like that.....excellent!
DeleteI thought the British term was a "Werrity" or a "Prince Andrew"? ;)
DeleteAnother great pair of figs for Franonia
Nice truck!
ReplyDeletewhere's the police to arrest the arms dealer?
ReplyDeleteTwo arms dealers definitely better than one for the customer as they can undercut each other. Like the red shoes!
ReplyDeleteGeneral: have you read A. Lurker's new book entitled, "The Gangs of Franonia"?
ReplyDeleteHe seems like a likeable chap, even tipping his hat.
ReplyDeleteHe He Prepare for some dodgy dealings by the looks of them!
ReplyDeleteTrouble brewing in Franonia already? Great miniatures and great film too.
ReplyDeleteIf Nic Cage isn't running around screaming at any given moment of the movie, it can't be considered a Nic Cage movie. :P
ReplyDeleteSweet! Love the paint job on the truck! White haired guy in the truck, is he from the movie?
ReplyDeleteVery nice Frankie!
ReplyDeleteHe actually complimented you yesterday Ray. Have someone take his temperature, I think he might be ill.
DeleteStop it!
Deletefirst one kinda looks as a zombie.
ReplyDeleteGreat looking figs, Fran. It seems like competition will drive the prices down enough for me to finally afford a bazooka!
ReplyDeleteNice minis! And fun movie, I did enjoy that one
ReplyDeleteSo, when do we see pics of these nicely painted figures being used in a wargame? Yer teasing us...
ReplyDeletethat was a good movie. I remember seeing it in theaters and NOT hating it...something I can't say for most newer Nicolas Cage films.
ReplyDeleteAhaha nice motivation!
ReplyDeleteNice figs and an interesting game in the planning I see.
ReplyDeleteCan't stand Mr Cage... Every since he repeated screamed 'I am the greatest' in some helicopter flick, i've just thought , 'meh'...
Again very nice wee men there
ReplyDeleteHah, these are great. Do you plan a project berfore you start, or does it just gain a life of it's own?
ReplyDeleteCool! As always I really like the vehicles.
ReplyDeleteChristopher
Great film ...nice paint work
ReplyDeleteWell done with the 15mm again. You sell the scale well.
ReplyDeleteCrazy good movie! Leto is great in it.
ReplyDeleteHaha, I saw the title and immediately thought of Lord of War. Nice one.
ReplyDeleteWow love the look!
ReplyDeleteGood work Fran, the backlog of 7.62x39 should be running low by now!
ReplyDeletePlayed my way through the Zeppelin and Beatles catalog and had fun doing it. Good night Angry.
ReplyDeleteReally nice. It was mentioned above already, but you really do a great job with 15mm.
ReplyDeleteI tried to view that image with 500%. Awesome details.
ReplyDeleteAK47s FOR EVERYONE! The only scene I remember from Lord of War is the manufacture of a bullet.
ReplyDeleteRemember when Nicolas Cage was a decent actor? Yeah, me neither.
ReplyDeleteActually not a half bad movie. If only it was as awesome as the poster. lol.
