    1. Approximately half of all medals won in the Olympics by the Irish are for boxing, we seem to like fighting!

  11. Our Katie is a pretty girl but oh the fierce look on her face when she raised her gloves in the air after her victory. Today it's good to be Irish. Thank you big guy.

  12. nice insurgents, we are having a sweepstake in history class, gold medals per population, the german exchange student is winning by far. She chose jamaca and is far ahead of me and great britain. the guy who chose the USA is crying his face off.

  16. WHAT Ireland got a GOLD... I demand that sport gets taken out of the Olympics immediately. WE can't be having that, it's the thin end of the wedge. (OH OK then well done Ireland).

Good work on the minis mate. Good to see such progress.... I can only dream about such alacrity!

  31. Congratulations to Kathie! I always think it is far better to be proud of an athlete then go on complaining about your nation winning too few medals!

BTW... the pose of the insurgent leader just calls for a bullet in the middle of his chest, does it not!

  32. Another top notch paint job Fran. It must be about time though for you to get the Rejects organised and get a game with all these figs you have been cracking on with??

And yes congrats to Katie on her win (although the Russkies are bleating that the judges were biased)

  33. Man!, are you good with the figs.
