Slug Industries, Wargames Community Currency, Bloggers Convention, Boobs, TV shows, Movies etc...........

....or that Jeremy Kyle and the majority of daytime TV is the devils arse water!

The legend that is 6milphil and some of the lovely stuff from his 28mm Slug Industries company, great stuff on the site (modern, VBCW etc....), I tried to convince him that his 28mm RV model would sell well in 15mm, great chat with the man about casting and the costs of getting miniatures cast.........

I ended up with the lovely pack of resin models which leads me on to the great idea that James "Great Idea" Brewerton has come up with about lead piles of miniatures and swapping stuff to get other stuff but anyway click on the link and join the community but then he came up with another great idea........

The man himself........

...........he's throwing the idea around about a Blogger Convention to be held in the UK and he's looking for feedback, click on the link to have a look and help him out.

Some movies I've seen or caught up on recently..........

(2 STARS) but interesting to find out how Gettysburg was really won.......

(2 STARS) and that's really only for the epic scene of the White House under attack...........

(3 STARS) but didn't rock my world, I think The Avengers movie with all the super heroes for one price has spoiled us, Ben Kingsley was good though...........

Currently loving some newer and one I just found TV shows........

Violent and grim.....

Violent, dark and grim.......

Just fecking funny.........

Some eye candy for people who have lasted this long.........

When I get up every morning I switch on the computer and go job hunting and blog reading but can't help switching on the TV, arse water for a lot of it including Jeremy Kyle and some of the stuff on the discovery channels but I am thinking of buying a few storage lockers!

Bryan Scott aka Vampifan is slowly recovering according to his brother, all our good wishes go out to our friend!

...and a picture for the big man!

Vampirella.........

  1. James's new nickname still laughing at that, as its gonna stick like s**t to a bears. You were right the eye candy was needed after the mention of Jeremy Kyle such rubbish should not be filmed let alone on TV

  2. As to your question, there is some news of Vampifan on his blog, posted by his brother under the most recent article: http://vampifansworldoftheundead.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/foundry-yakuza-gangers.html . By the sound of it, he's very seriously ill :-( .

  11. A blogger convention sounds like a good idea really. There are conventions for people on youtube and stuff so I think a blogging one could be cool.

  19. I forgot what I was doing, playing a smart Italian girl, Ciaci in chess for three weeks, she looks like peppermint patty in her pic, today she said hi and put a smiley face, which messed me up coming out of the blue, and then beat me in game 1 but I am gonna beat her in game 2 if she would just move her trapped king again, so I can make a queen, but three weeks ago I was looking into the blog for charity and now I remember what I was doing. Couldn't figure out how to put the image on the sidebar to stay there. Maybe there's a widget/gadget for that.

  20. That tanned beauty in the middle...

I've heard great things about Hannibal. I should look into it. It's also weird seeing you give so many films 2 stars!

  21. Duck Dynasty - funny as hell, but I suspect it's scripted. Still, who cares?

Sad that the first time I learn of a blogger he's in intensive care! Been that kind of year though.

  22. Ben Kingsley was pretty good, I'll admit but that vampirella chick must have trouble walking...you know, being so top heavy, but I suppose if she did fall over she wouldn't get hurt since her...um...chest would no doubt cushion her fall.

  24. The Blogger Convention sounds like fun and you UK people ought to do it.
I had no idea about Vampi. You and Ray are the only two people I've been reading since I left so I hadn't heard a word. That last pic was a nice touch Fran.

  35. Iron Man was okay. I don't think it was bad, but I also don't think it was as good as people were initially saying.

Also, I just realized I need to hire a dog walker.

  36. the majority of daytime TV is the devils arse water

Your creative ways of incorporating "arse" into an infinite variety of sentences always makes me laugh.

I wonder if the girl walking the dog finds that dog-walking makes a good ice-breaker for meeting men in the park.

  37. Haven't seen the Avengers yet and I have to get into Hannibal!

  38. Holy knockers on that last chick.

We saw Iron Man as well. It wasn't terrible but yeah, I was a little spoiled by the Avengers. It was just so good.

Good luck with the job hunting. Our place is closing for three weeks to renovate. Maybe I'll make good use of that time and clean the office.

Or maybe I'll just bake every single day.
