20mm WW2 Painted Partisans and Resistance Fighters.

I gathered these WW2 20mm figures together to represent saboteurs, resistance fighters and for behind the lines shenanigans that tie up regular troops and put a strain on lines of supply and communication...

They are a mixture of soviet partisans from Shell Hole Scenics and CP Models, dismounted soviet tank crew and cossack from Britannia Miniatures and resistance fighters from Wargames Foundry (these are more western european operations), I will add my soviet airborne as well to give a more military look to the unit.....

Ray painted and based these (has never based a figure for me before) and got points in the challenge as well for them ( there is no bleeding fecking justice at all but that's life.......). I'm happy to have them even if the painting is a bit dodgy......

  1. Love that Soviet Cossack and that old lady reaching into her purse. Gun or grenade? I noticed 2 things. 1. You've a gorilla on you banner (beautiful silverback male) and 2. Ray is kicking your arse in the contest. Paint man paint! Paint till you've got blisters on your fingers.

  11. Very nicely done, Ray!

I like the gorilla in the header of the blog too. Is there a resemblance Angry???

BTW Angry - I have something you need to watch. Here in the States, we have a show called 'I Get That A Lot'. Kinda 'meh' overall, but the first show of this season has Pamela Anderson working in a Victoria's Secret. Wow. Google it! (I would, but Im blocked from youtube at work)

  15. They're kinda ok? not sure of the colours used? Maybe you should have paid the poor guy more for them? He's very undervalued I hear? Did you pay extra for the basing?

  17. God I hate these guys, especially when the seem to pop out of nowhere, blocking supply lines and causing overall chaos.

  22. I was gonna say some thing then I noticed that Retro-Zombie already said it!

I like the hat on said statue. It makes him look like quite the tough ass. And how hes painted he looks more "real" then the others. (but maybe thats cause hes of to the side of the light)

  24. I feel bad for that last chap. Doesn't look like he's going to make it. Also enjoyed the word, shenanigans. I haven't heard that work in a long time. Going to have to swipe it for a blog post.

Just came out of the writing dungeon to let Bug go pee. Soon as she's done, it's back to work for me.

    Cheers & Boogie Boogie.

  25. Nicely done, such a color cast indeed. I'd also never trust that little old lady with her purse, prob has a bazooka in there or something.

  28. I just saw your comment Angry. I've brought back some of my history books written in the 1800's and some before and am going to begin writing posts about it next week. We are currently being required to sell of State Treasures to pay our debt, I'm trying to find out which ones. This according to Noonan's plans for our economy.

  40. Didn't you get the bear? He was with the Cossack! Niv-ce bunch of figures Fran!

You asked about the book I was reading. It's not bad, only a bit strange without Jack Ryan.
