15mm figures from The Scene , described as special agents or The Authorities but I'm using them as close protection for my Dictator with uniform designed by said Dictator, in a pinch they could provide security for a Vegas hotel in the 1970's......
Picked as many static poses as I could but they were nice figures from a little company and good service.....
Great use of these figures. Nice paintjob as well Fran
ReplyDeleteI've actually been looking at doing 15mm and the scene do some great figures especially the Zombie Hunters and Special OP's need some zombies from them or something. Been trying to work out if 15mm figures would work with matchbox cars etc or not? What do you think
I think they would, I need a lot of vehicles...1/87 scale or HO is an option with railway models....
DeleteVery nice! The General is in good company.
ReplyDeleteThat should keep any would be assassins away from our beloved leader. ;) Great work Sir!
ReplyDeleteLovely stuff. Very nice figures.
ReplyDeleteNice work TAL, but whats with the dark faces ??? have I missed something ?
ReplyDeleteI'll hire anybody.....
DeleteYou'll need all of those bodyguards to protect that Merc.... especially if you park it round my way!
ReplyDeleteYou know.....Two of those "bodyguards" are on my payroll?
ReplyDeleteHehehehee..........
Rooting them out now......
DeleteI love the bodyguards there, your skill at painting these wee boys is getting better.
ReplyDeleteI like that they're all dressed in the same colors. Their boss has a sense of style.
ReplyDeleteLooking good, your building your force up nicely, is Ray building up the Rebels?
ReplyDeleteIan
I'm painting his 15mm persona now......
DeleteBet he'll be a handsome looking chap??
DeleteYea, cool little figures :)
ReplyDeleteI think those are my favorite figures so far.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great set of 15mms. You really did them justice with the paint scheme.
ReplyDeleteVery good paint job, I like the bits of red on each figure
ReplyDeleteTies and blouses......
DeleteI'll have to be careful what I say - don't want to wake up to find a horse's head in my bed!
ReplyDeleteVery nice figs
Cool.
ReplyDeleteSure, 70s security detail or maybe characters from an early 80s cult movie. They have a sort of violent sci-fi/cyberpunk feel to them.
ReplyDeleteor a Tarantino film - looking at them again they are quite reminiscent of Reservoir Dogs or Pulp Fiction
DeleteWhere's the mini sleestak?
ReplyDeleteStop it now, they don't exist.....
DeleteHahahaha. I read your comment to Tim. That's great stuff.
DeleteVery nice. The red really gives them a touch of flare.
ReplyDeletethey have ladies in their team too?
ReplyDeleteVery nice work and nice tie in on the red.
ReplyDeleteChristopher
Nothings getting past those body guards.
ReplyDeleteNice! That general just got even more cocky, must have a huge ego..haha
ReplyDeleteThe red haired women next to the dictator looks like she's outta Star Trek??
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it's no coincidence that the two females are standing closest to the Great Fran!
ReplyDeleteUzi guy looks bitchin'.
ReplyDeleteVery nice models, Fran, a good Security Team.
ReplyDeleteHe's probably going to be pretty safe behind that wall of people.
ReplyDeleteI like it...I think the dark faces make it look kind of X Men, so I am all about it...or maybe its the color on my screen...anyhow, well done!
ReplyDeleteLove the colour on the car! The woman on the left sides face looks very dark! Which is very interesting!
ReplyDeleteNice work! Out of interest have you ever watched the film 'Lord of War', if not, do, I predict a lot of inspiration for Frannonia as a result...
ReplyDeleteGood eye opening movie.........
DeleteIt's like you're recreating a scene from the movie CASINO.
ReplyDeleteNice! How will they all get in the car? or is there a trailer?
ReplyDeleteCheers
paul
Reminds me of a cop movie scene here..
ReplyDeleteNice looking goons Fran. Well done.
ReplyDeleteThe Mercedes was painted well
ReplyDeleteI can almost smell the sleeze/corruption emanating from this dictator and his posse...awesome!
ReplyDeleteLovely paint jobs Fran, they really look the biz. You must be knocking out quite a few of these 15mm figs now. How many more do you have on the painting stocks?
ReplyDelete150+ to go I'd say mate....
DeleteWell at the rate you are churning them out at I suspect you'll have them all done by Sunday tea-time!
DeleteI see the ladies have arrived in Franonia. I've had a wonderful day off spent drawing and playing drums. I'm off to the Land of Nod. Goodnight Angry.
ReplyDeleteI like the detail on the suits as far as the wrinkles and such. They look as if they're partying while protecting. Exemplary work, Angry Lurker.
ReplyDelete
